This was much better than I anticipated. Full of action, mystery and love, it was well done. There was not unrealistic acts or situations that often ruin books like this. I am looking forward to the next book!

So I got this book by mistake, and I now believe in fate. Because this is an excellent book! I'm so glad I ended up with it, can't wait to finish the rest!

First off, I loved this series being in parts. Staccato, and worth the wait each time. In music, Staccato means
it's performed with each note sharply detached or separated from the others, like "a staccato rhythm". It felt like as an author, Wild also needed to step back, breathe, and figure out what "sounded" best for her next keystroke. Where to go, what felt right for the next events.
The characters' growth over time was worth the wait, and for me, the author didn't disappoint. For those who expected the Hacker Series or Bridge series type sexual escapades, oh well. This was a series about growth, love, redemption, forgiveness, and hope... and a pretty great thriller. I'll probably listen again to the series one chapter after the others to pull things together better on 2nd go-round, but it's a very gritty thriller with social conscience and some beautiful romance on the edges .... I read other mystery thriller type books and Wild captures the spirit of those in a softer core with this type of book that no one else writes. Thriller, mystery, and decently descriptive sex in places that male authors do not go.

This was a really good action book! It has a little bit of everything...romance, assassins, and a good girl.

I cannot believe that I have not read this series before now. This was so good, that once I started I just couldn’t put it down. This is a series that MUST be read in order. Reborn is the first 3 book in the series.
This is the story of Tristan a hit-man, an assassin, he has no memories of his past; that is until the woman who is his latest target utters his name. Isabel Foster may hold the key to unlocking his memories.
This is a dark, at times raw and gritty story that had me captivated from the first to the last chapter, as Isabel suddenly finds herself reunited with the man who stole her heart. Of course the only problem is that she is his latest target and someone wants her dead.
The drama and angst as they struggle to uncover the truth will have you on the edge of your seats. This is a hard review to write as I don’t want to give too much away.
Will Tristan follow through on the hit? Or will he save Isabel and in turn put them both in danger?
Reborn is a great example of romantic suspense and one I thoroughly loved. My only slight negative I have is that I think this story would have been further enhanced with duet narration.

I'm fairly new to the audiobook experience, but I couldn't be happier that I chose this title to lose my Audible virginity with. The story is expertly written by one of my favorite authors, Meredith Wild, and the narrators deliver a delightful version of the tale. I really enjoyed their cadence and varied voices for the different characters that appear throughout the chapters and found myself talking back to my phone or car stereo as I was listening, as though the characters were right in the same room with me. I'm excited to continue on with the series as it's very entertaining. I love the suspense and above all, the love story. The heat between the hero and heroine has me pressing pause here and there to catch my breath while I'm listening too. Great job all around. Definitely recommend!

A nonstop roller coaster ride with suspense around every corner. Not much sex but a lot of intimacy and fire between the two main characters. A must read or listen. You won’t be disappointed.
