The final chapters and epilogue added a lot of additional history, I had not realized. It was a great finish.

Initially I wasn’t excited by the narrator, it was slow and clumsy. I changed the playback speed to 1.5 and it was much better.

I’ve read and listened to many books on the American Revolution both non-fiction and historical fiction. I enjoyed the personal story lines included in the book that kept it interesting without changing historical fact.

As a student of America history, I knew much about gates and his undermining of Washington and Benedict Arnold, his failures at Saratoga and in South Caroline (which is outside the scope of this book) and his lobbying of Congress. I was surprised to learn that Doctor Benjamin Rush had temporally turned on Washington. Enough cannot be said about Barron Von Steuben and his importance to the success of the Revolution. The book is very entertaining.

Good enough for a second listen! I believe it was section nine that spoke of knowing your advantage. There were some great points that deserve another listen.

I learned many new things about Henry Ford. The fact he was an environmentalist long before it was popular was surprising. Ford’s perspective on costs and the savings derived were to be used to reduce the price, not increase profit or benefit stockholders. He had a tremendous desire to lead in improving pay, working hours and providing opportunities for employees to grow. Executives today can learn many things by reading and studying this book.

What's Funnier than Tim Conway

I have always enjoyed Tim Conway from his time on McHale`s Navy to the Carol Burnett Show and beyond. This book introduces you to the person behind the comedian and provides insight into the fact his comedy wasn't just an act but who he really was. He loved people, he loved making them laugh and when the laughter started he didn't want it to stop.

He was a little drier than I expected, but then how can he be Ensign Pafker or another of his characters as he tells his story. It is an enjoyable book and, if you like Tim and his comedy, you will enjoy getting to know him.

Required reading for large organizations leaders

Christensen brings focus to the need for innovation and the dilemma it creates for large organizations. Innovative technology requires a place to develop and grow where is not constrained by large organizational financial requirements. New technologies will not meet the corporate profit objectives at the outset and most likely not fir a few years. As a result they are typically shut down as “non producers” and “losers” before they get the chance to succeed. If the organizations will not recognize and allow the time for the product to develop and the appropriate markets to be identified, the innovation should be spun off to a separate organization where small margins are acceptable and time to grow allowed. This is a great read!

Candace is amazing her own story and rise from a challenging situation is incredible. My wish is that both blacks and whites would read or listen to this book to understand that the plantations of the 1700s and 1800s have taken a new form: the Democratic Party! After reading you will understand why liberals support Planned Parenthood (and its purpose) and oppose School of Choice. You will also understand why ANTIFA is the new KKK. Read it NOW!

Power Grab tells the story of how liberals do not seek what is best for America, rather their objective is seeking power! In the midst of the COVID-19 virus we see @realDonalTrump putting power in the hands of the individual states to address the virus, while liberals want the Federal Government to manage the crisis. Power must exist at the level where it can do the most good and be most effective.

Gladwell is at his best with "The Tipping Point"! I have read this book and listened several times and every time new ideas come forward. I recommend multiple readings or listening multiple times to get the full value. Too many ideas for a single time!
