Great story!

While I was not impressed initially by the narrator, I ended up thoroughly enjoying this audiobook! One of those books where I was sad for it to come to an end.

Story
In 2009, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed at the Super Bowl's halftime show. The experience was so exhilarating that Bruce decided to write about it. That's how this extraordinary autobiography began. Over the past seven years, Bruce Springsteen has privately devoted himself to writing the story of his life, bringing to this audio the same honesty, humor, and originality found in his songs.

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Born to Run! I'm not much of a fan of the 'pop' side of Springsteen, and was pleased that the book did not spend much time on this side of his work. Springsteen notes that he goes deep within his self when forming his music. Glad to see that he did the same with this book.

Story
There have been many books - on a large and small scale - about Steve Jobs, one of the most famous CEOs in history. But this book is different from all the others. Becoming Steve Jobs takes on and breaks down the existing myth and stereotypes about Steve Jobs. The conventional, one-dimensional view of Jobs is that he was half genius, half jerk from youth, an irascible and selfish leader who slighted friends and family alike.

I judge the quality of a book by how I feel when it ends. This time the end was not welcomed, wishing that there was more. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. Having read Isaacson's books on Jobs, Einstein and Franklin it was a pleasure listening to an audible version of another piece of his work.
