Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

I loved the authenticity of the characters. But the will they, won’t they dance took up too much wasted space. The overall life lessons were very good though!

Sweet Story
Reviewed: 03-08-25
I thought the story was nice overall however I could not get past the way that the main character characters just got in their own way. I really loved the best friend Dallas. I thought he was one of the best characters. However, the main character characters had so much growing to do, and they continuously got stuck in their heads, which led to them making foolish choices. Which, I understand, given that they are young adults, but I would’ve loved to see a little bit more maturity when it came to them handling their emotions, however overall really sweet and cute story and a great way to pass the time so yes, I recommend it, but would love to see a little more growth in the characters going forward Enjoy your reading time! :-)

Long winded
Reviewed: 03-03-25
I tried listening to the book and was really glad that it was long however, I quickly found that the characters were just long-winded didn’t learn and just were overall not the greatest people and I couldn’t stand to just hear them out each and every time though I did do my best to listen to the story till the end because I just couldn’t leave it unfinished I can’t say that I absolutely adored it. I would love to see more lovable, and less stupidity and foolishness from the characters because I just felt like They were all struggling to do the right thing constantly from Jessica just being interested in sex and being judged, and not even being the greatest person herself, who made the worst choices they could make, and then to our main character stormy day, who just continue to make poor choices and then judge everyone else, and think that she was the one who needed to make the best choices it just felt like everyone was shooting themselves in the foot over and over and over again. I don’t know. I don’t think I’ll be listening to the next one anytime soon, but I do hope that the author begins writing some more Approachable and lovable characters as a writer. You do not have to continuously shoot your characters in the foot to help them learn you can help them learn through more realistic expectations, and life lessons but you don’t have to make them so terrible…if you want to listen to the story, just know the characters are definitely unique. Best of luck 🤞

Decent start to the series
Reviewed: 02-07-25
I loved how the main character had really supportive friends, but the main character itself locked so much depth and made so many bad judgment calls from beginning to end. It was really hard to find her character likable, with the way that her mind worked. I didn’t find it to be intriguing. I find it found it to be quite frustrating and I found the story to be a decent way to pass the time, but not necessarily one in which I was hooked from beginning to end, I would be eager to see what the author does with the remaining books in the series.

An okay read to pass the time
Reviewed: 01-27-25
I liked the main character determination to stay true to herself, but I felt like many of the characters lacked depth, and I felt that there was so much more that could’ve been done with the story to help elevate it and keep readers and listeners hooked. I am sure that the storyline gets much more interesting as the series progresses so I am willing to listen to the upcoming books when I have a moment However, if you are looking for something that really just keeps you on the edge of your seat this is not it unfortunately, but it shows promise so let’s see what the author does with the rest of the books.

The very real and relatable main cast!
Reviewed: 12-28-24
I loved how real and true this story felt it felt like something out of a movie and was very very well done. It felt like this was a story that I could visualize in my mind‘s eye as I’m going about doing my daily to do list on the most amazing set. This story could not be more humorous, authentic, true, and just all-around, loving for a woman who is looking for characters that they can relate to see themselves in and really picture as being a part of their extended reality if you are someone that is looking for an honest and perhaps sometimes clumsy main character who eventually finds their way in an understandable way of life through choices that resemble ones that you might make yourself this is the story for you. I’m only sorry that it was so short and I do look forward to hearing more from this author and this narrative cast Check it out before it’s too late!

The Unique Storyline
Reviewed: 12-22-24
I loved how the story had you captivated from moment to moment it was a very unique take with an excellent narrator that really drew you in. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer, and that it came in a trilogy, but I look forward to keeping track. The next narrator may be getting Something new in terms of the voice has changed so that may take some getting used to, but I think when it comes to the adventures of the main cast of such as Claire and Declan, I look forward to hearing more and I’m sure that if you are a forward thinking modern day, lady who is looking to just identify with somebody that does not go with the status quo that likes things, interesting, intellectual and full of deep, thinking thought and fantasy. This is the series for you so don’t hesitate to check out this text and see where the adventure takes you!

I think her style is amazing and I am definitely definitely hooked. I am currently debating whether to just purchase more books or wait until I get more credits but if you are someone that appreciates a hard-working woman And amazing cast of characters who are dynamic relatable and feel like your friends, this is exactly the world that you need to enter now so you I promise will not regret it. From beginning to end this story had me captivated. I absolutely fell in love with all of the characters from the first moment that I met Emily Lane, and the characters that came in and out of under the mistletoe, I was in a trance. I think that the author has done an amazing job with keeping each character, dynamic and relatable in a way that is simply indescribable. As an avid reader and pro woman protagonist when it comes to stories, I know that this story will captivate your heart. If you are looking for something that will keep you on the edge of your seat make you feel like you’re listening to a movie and really just inspire you to keep going no matter what if you are looking for motivation this is the story for you so without hesitation, I fully recommend all three of the mistletoe series, and I look forward to hearing so much more from them and jumping back into the world of under the mistletoe!
