Story
Io is off to fight the Allfather, and that means Cam is in charge. He'll be the first to admit that isn't the old Titan's best idea, but there isn't any time for second-guessing. Io might be the Father of Dragons and Creator of the Mortal Realm, but he made it clear when he left Caesars Palace that he would lose that fight. That means Cam is the last line of defense between the Aesir and everything he cares about.

Entertaining!
Reviewed: 04-15-25
This series is hilarious and very entertaining. Although I generally dislike harem-type novels, I’ll make an exception for this particular series due to its entertainment value. Contextually, it offers a diverse range of elements. The characters are authentic and engaging, and the plot is somewhat compelling. There’s enough action and suspense for thrill-seekers, as well as political intrigue for intellectuals. The series also includes a sufficient amount of romance and drama to appeal to emotional readers. Overall, it’s an exceptional series.

He gets to choose a Cosmic Power and a Class. A path to ascension. A way to bring his sister back.

The most interesting thing about this book to me is the ability to customize your character build by just saying what you want. The action was constant and thrilling at b times and the story was kinda most of the story was fun.

The City of Inventions, Pallass, is a fascinating place. Filled with all kinds of oddballs from the named-rank [Alchemist], Saliss of Lights, to Grimalkin the [Sinew Magus], a drunken Dwarven master [Blacksmith], to Chaldion, to... Wyverns? Erin Solstice is on a break from her inn. Not for long; she's returning with more Skills, but she has changed. She will return with her usual chaos and wonder, but always differently. Now, there are flames and... a garden?

It seems that my former power is gradually returning to me in my new body. I still have all my past experience, however, and everything is proceeding just as it should. How quickly can I earn money and build my reputation? No, I'm not going to resort to killing and looting. I'm an Architect, after all! I'm going to craft and build things! That's how Architects work! The time has come to rebuild my empire. So . . . I might end up having to do some killing and looting, after all. I'm not short of enemies . . .

In my opinion, this series is one of my favorites, but the books are too short. I would appreciate it if there were more content. Additionally, KC’s narration is exceptional.

Amazing series.
Reviewed: 03-28-25
As a devoted reader and listener of this series, I’ve noticed its consistent improvement. While some aspects don’t resonate with me, I remain committed to the story. One aspect that I find particularly challenging is Li Wei’s constant self-talk and gloomy outlook, given his overwhelming will. Li Wei is aware of his vulnerability in the face of adversity and the imminent threats posed by others. Despite this, he seems to be perpetually preoccupied with his own death. His unwavering determination and resolute spirit are commendable qualities that contribute to my admiration for this series.

The story was incredible, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were intriguing, and the action sequences were engaging. The overall plot was well-crafted and entertaining. However, I found the narration to be somewhat lacking. While it wasn’t terrible, I felt that the characters were indistinguishable from one another.
