Story
I’ll never ask for you to be with me, to love me, to appreciate me and what I have to offer. Everything I do will be for you. I will be unabashedly devoted to making you happy. The choice will always have to be yours. But if you continue to choose me? I promise to give you everything I am, everything I will ever be, everything you can even imagine. There will never be a moment of your life where you will ever question where I stand with you, how I feel, or whether I choose you. But I’ll never ask, Jhorie. I can’t. The choice will always have to be yours.

Ezekiel plays no games when it comes to those he loves. He was mistreated by his ex and desires to be chosen. In hindsight they both chose each other. Zeke and Elias are one of a kind. I really love these brothers. K.C. Mills is a gifted and talented writer. I’m pretty new to her work, but she has yet to miss the mark. Only con was the female narrator lacked character in her reading.

Story
Redmon Stokes is a man about his money. Raised by the streets, he’s a natural born hustler who plans to secure every dollar that he can get his hands on. That doesn’t leave room for much else, except the streets. Peyson Cross is the epitome of a strong, successful Black woman. She has worked hard to make a name for herself with a career that allows her the finer things in life, excluding the love and affection of a man who truly knows her worth.

There’s a lot of profanity (which I don’t usually mind) and it’s excessive. Redmon character is rude and treats no one with respect. He lacks emotional maturity and constantly tantrums. Peyson is naive and gullible. She worships the ground he walks on and she is always apologizing. To each one’s own.

I’m not really into the amnesia trope, but I really enjoyed this story. Her mother and stepfather are crazy. I like that, but at times he were a little aggressive in his delivery. I thought he should’ve been more understanding when she wanted to take a moment to herself because she went through a lot and I understand he went through a lot emotionally. Most characters were focused on Zachary‘s pain during her time where nobody knew what happened to her, but she was the actual one that wentthrough trauma. She need a little more compassion. Tay Monae did a good job writing the story, narrators did a good job narrating and I definitely recommend.

Oh my goodness I really enjoyed their story. They fell fast and deeply for each other. Their chemistry was felt and heard throughout their story. Secrets will always come out in the end. I love how Lawson communicated clearly. Although, Zarina grew confidence with Lawson it took a while to show confidence with her family. Wonderful job by the narrators. I definitely recommend and I’m happy with this purchase. I would listen all over again.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Cute and funny story. Two college students assigned to each other to complete an assignment on love at first sight. It was hours of conversation after conversation with limited depth. Their opinions were different and they were striving to prove each other’s point. HEA for the win

The beginning of this story had 100 % of my attention, but it kind of lost me in the end. They were young and forced to make adult decisions which affected their choices. Divination took the brunt of the blame, but I can’t say she was to blame. She made a decision that was made to protect Grant. It felt like sides were taken between the friends and although they accepted her back in the fold they felt she hurt him before she’ll do it again

Story
Devin Walker, drummer for The Prototype, has one priority: turning his alt-soul band into the superstar act it's destined to become. Singularly focused on his music, his creative passion is all-consuming - that is, until he crosses paths with his best friend's college roommate, Willow Harden. Willow was drawn to Devin from the moment she first saw him. And when Devin does, finally look Willow's way, she's easily seduced from her protective bubble into the lure of his fast-paced ambitions, though at times, she wonders if she can handle it.

Their story reminded me a little of love and basketball (college setting). Willow was giving me slightly obsessed vibes and Devin gives some contradicting vibes. He didn’t want anyone dating (previous stories), but he could date with no issue. I enjoyed their story though. Had some moments of laughter.

Story
When Kennedy James unexpectedly shows up at her grandma's house in Tyler, Texas, no one knows what to make of her arrival - including her. The only thing Kennedy does know is that something in her life has to change, and it needs to happen right now. She's been numb for much too long. Then she meets Travis Broussard, the perceptively cool guitarist of the indie soul band The Prototype. The timing couldn't be worse, but their attraction is instant, magnetic, and at times overwhelming, causing Kennedy to question if it's possible to feel too much.

Story
The only things in Jersey Kincaid's world that she has time for are keeping her grades up so that she doesn't lose her scholarship to South Texas University, playing the bass in her band, The Prototype, and satisfying her coffee addiction. Oh, and the occasional random hook-up she indulges in to pass the time. Love? Eh, not so much. Save that crap for a Katherine Heigl or Natalie Portman movie. That's why when Jersey meets Isaiah "Zay" Broussard, with his soulful gray eyes, quick wit, and easy charm, she's determined to remain aloof.

I really enjoyed this book. Jersey had some emotional baggage to carry and it was a tough one to carry. She was so guarded and didn’t let many people close, but Zay didn’t play around with her at all. He broke her down and I loved the way he loved her. Whenever he called her ’Kitty’ made me chuckle. So cute and perfect.
Narrators did a superb job as always. Definitely recommend
