Story
After losing his twin brother, Gray has devoted his life to the Kings of Hell MC. He will do anything to protect his family and that means anything. Even sell his own shadow to the devil. Following a fire that left him without one arm, Gray feels pushed to the sidelines. In order to prove to his club that he is still capable of completing dangerous tasks, he will have to team up with the strange creature from the Other Side. Tall, inhumanly strong, and menacing despite the handsome exterior, Shadow is just the tool Gray needs.

*Spoiler Ahead*
I understand why people are upset about what happened to Grey and Shadow toward the end. But think about if they didn’t get punished and was instead letting off with just some heated argument and quick understanding. First it would be less enjoyable without the emotional rollercoaster. And having his hand injured it makes shadow part of the club now, making that sacrifice is almost like to prospecting, knight even said so. Imagine if there’s no major consequences, the reader wouldn’t really feel like they are still the underdog couple in the club, the whole “us against the world” sentiment, as ridiculous as it is, still have emotional draw for me. Overall I still very much enjoy this book, maybe even better than the other ones. Some of the crazy scenes in there are just the right amount beyond imagination for the me to feel the magic. Highly recommend it.

Story
Betrayed the night before his wedding by the supposed boy of his dreams, Ethan Robinson escapes the devastating fallout by going on his honeymoon alone to the other side of the world. Hard of hearing and still struggling with the repercussions of being late-deafened, traveling by himself leaves him feeling painfully isolated with his raw, broken heart. Clay befriends Ethan, hoping he can cheer him up, and a crush on an unattainable straight guy is exactly the safe distraction Ethan needs. Yet as the days pass and their connection grows, long-repressed desires surface in Clay....

Very touching story with a sweet ending. It’s been great following Ethan’s journey. Even better listening to this on a holiday trip.

I don’t write reviews often. But this is definitely with more attention. Will be a series I revisit again. Book 4 is already in kindle preorder and I can’t wait to read it already. For anyone who hasn’t read anything with similar premise, keep an open mind and you will be rewarded by wonderfully developed characters and very funny and heartwarming storylines. Highly recommended. Also Please develop Eileen’s other work to include in audible library, of course preferably with the same narrator. :)
