Spoiler alert: don’t scroll down if you don’t want to know.

Spoiler:

WHY did she have to have an unplanned pregnancy???? WHY are authors continually making this trope a happy one!?Unplanned knocked up is almost NEVER welcomed news. Most men would hightail it quick too; not swooning and in love. Women have to deal with this alone most of the time, and only if they are lucky enough to have choices. Please stop celebrating unplanned pregnancy, especially now, when this situation is an absolute life-threatening nightmare. It ruins 99% of stories, including this one.

It was a bit too easy to pinpoint the killer though. I knew right away who he or she was at the first mention of her or him. The story was enjoyable despite that.

Karen White is a great narrator.

Possible spoiler.

Why would anyone fall for this guy? His maturity level is that of a child’s and he is cruel and a bully. There is absolutely nothing attractive about that, no matter his physical appearance. I re-listened to this after noticing I had left off with 2 hours to go and now I remember why I stopped listening the first time. Performances were good, but…just no on this story.

She is a very unlikeable person and I can’t imagine why a hot doctor would waste his time with her. She’s annoying and selfish. Ugh. Sorry, but who needs her kind of grief?
Cal is hot, though, and Jason Clarke sounds like a hot doctor in his narration of Cal.

I’m sorry, but Jason is a jerk. Not sure why Jess loves him. She should have told him to f-off the first time he yelled at her and never looked back.

Jason Clarke is sexy as Banks, of course. He could read Black’s Law Dictionary and make it sexy. I didn’t love the female narrator, but she was better than Erin Mallon (who I can no longer handle listening to). The story was good, but I kept wanting it to measure up to Tristan and Dannika. It doesn’t measure up. Overall, I liked it, but I will not listen to it again, like I have with all of RKL’s other books in this genre.

These are people in their 40s and they sound like middle schoolers with all the slut shaming and immature people. I made it half way through, hoping for it to get better, but after more than 7 hours I couldn’t listen to it anymore.

This last installment of the trilogy gets annoying and tiring. Joe A. was good, but E. Mallon’s breathy, crying voice gets very annoying. I did not finish, so keep that in mind. think I would have finished the book had I not listened first, but I couldn’t take E. Mallon’s voice after about an hour and a half.
