Story
Ehd's a caveman living on his own in a harsh wilderness. He's strong and intelligent but completely alone. When he finds a beautiful, young woman in his pit trap, it's obvious to him that she is meant to be his mate. Elizabeth doesn't know where she is or exactly how she got there. She's not at all interested in Ehd's primitive advances, and she just can't seem to get him to listen. No matter what she tries, getting her point across to this primitive but beautiful man is a constant - and often hilarious - struggle.

A Love that transcends time!
Reviewed: 01-03-19
I really enjoyed this book by Shay Savage. It tells the story of Ehd a caveman who has lost his whole tribe so has been living alone for the past 4 years. Living in prehistoric times is very challenging and living along takes its toll on Ehd. One day when he checks his pit trap there is a young woman trapped in there!
To Ehd, this is a sign that Elizabeth, whom Ehd calls Bey, has been sent to him to be his mate. Although there are strange things about his mate like her unusual clothing, her incessant chatter and screaming, which gives him a headache, he will take care of her, protect her, and he wants to put a baby in her! Bey on the other hand is not interested in Ehd's advances!
This story is told in Ehd's point of view and is very unique in the way it unfolds and where it ends up between these two. Ehd has no understanding of language or how to write, it makes it hard for the two to communicate. In spite of all this, they find a love that is unmatched in its intensity, and they soon become everything to each other. I gave this book 5 unique stars and look forward to more by this author.

What did you like best about this story?
Wrath comes to realize certain undeniable things, and has the guts to change what needs to be changed and he also puts himself out there for the common people he represents and how it made all the difference in the way his life and everyone else's changes for the better!
Which scene was your favorite?
When Wrath is holding his son up outside to see the moon! It is at this moment he learns that his people have voted him to be their King forever! It was so touching!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Wrath is dreaming and his mother comes to him and for a quick minute he can see his Beth and his mother!

Lover Reborn, Tohr's book!
Reviewed: 03-25-17
Would you listen to Lover Reborn again? Why?
Yes I would listen to this book again. I loved the way it brought the past and the present together and Tohr finally is able to move on, maybe not in the way he wanted- but in the way that is necessary for him and Wellsie, the love of his life, and their young, to get to where they need to be- in the fade, and not between worlds.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked best that after Tohr finds out his shellan is not in the fade, but slowly losing any chance to get there, he does what he has to, with the help of his angel Lassiter. Tohr has to learn to love another to release his shellan from the netherworld and this is the hardest thng he has ever had to do.
Which character – as performed by Jim Frangione – was your favorite?
In this book it was Tohr and Lassiter!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Lover Reborn- A new beginning for Tohr!
Any additional comments?
I really liked this book and at times I wanted to get so upset with Tohr because he did not want to move on, but in the end he did, and that made it all worthwhile.

The Shadow, a great novel by Sylvain Reynard!
Reviewed: 12-18-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Shadow to be better than the print version?
I love both the print and the audible version, I often listen to the audiobook while following along in the print book, usually I am content with just the book, but this series, I wanted to hear it as well, the performance by John Michael Morgan is always so good!
What other book might you compare The Shadow to and why?
I do not compare books, I take them individually for their own merit!I think Sylvain Reynard's books are incomparable-they are all epic.
Which character – as performed by John Michael Morgan – was your favorite?
In this book it is The Prince, he is so strong, and no matter what is thrown at him he is able to persevere. He also shows his feelings for Raven, which is unheard of in this series-a vampyre to have feelings for "his pet".
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
An epic tale of true love between a human and a vampyre!
Any additional comments?
At the end of this book I could not wait for the next book to come out, and now I am going to listen to The Roman- I can't wait and look forward to it! Unfortunately John Michael Morgan has passed away so we will see what happens!

Fifty Shades Of Grey- First in Trilogy
Reviewed: 09-18-16
What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades of Grey the most enjoyable?
I came into the book with mixed emotions, from all the good and bad I had heard on Facebook, and all I can say is I am so glad I listened to and read this book!
What other book might you compare Fifty Shades of Grey to and why?
This is the first book I read like this, and now I am going to read the other two books as well.
Have you listened to any of Becca Battoe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No this is the first time I have heard her read a book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Christian followed Ana to her Mother's house!
Any additional comments?
I had heard so many different things about this book, about the dominant/submissive theme, and I realized that even though Christian was a sadist, Ana really got to him! I will see what happens next, but something Christian said also surprised me, that the submissive really does have the power in the relationship-she can always use a safe word!

Where does Gabriel's Inferno rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Top 5 books I have listened to so far.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the narrator, John Morgan; he reads beautifully and brings the characters to life in the story. The way he reads is well modulated and his inflections of some of the words makes it very enjoyable!
What about John Morgan’s performance did you like?
He reads really well, with feeling and the words just flow and the characters really become actual people in your mind through the sound of his voice.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The Scene where Julia and Gabriel are going to be together for the first time, and how Gabriel put a lot of thought into the act before and after by making sure he had all the things he thought would need to make it a more pleasurable experience for Julia, and afterwards, so she would not feel too much pain or discomfort.
Any additional comments?
Gabriel's Inferno is a wonderful book, and it is one I will read over and over again, as it was so good, but when I listened to it, it increased the pleasure of the book even more!

Would you consider the audio edition of Dark Prince to be better than the print version?
In some ways it is as we get to listen to the story and imagine it in our minds! The book on the other hand is just as good in its way as well.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Raven Whitney was my favorite character, as she was beautiful but so strong-strong enough to stand up to the Prince of the Carpathian people. I also loved Mikhail the prince as he was so enamored of Raven-she was a gift he had waited centuries for!
What about Abby Craden’s performance did you like?
I really liked Abby's performance-this was the second audio book I bought of Dark Prince and it was so much more, her voice distinguished between all of the characters really well, and I just love the way she read it!

But the moment I meet Archer Hale, my entire world tilts on its axis . . . and never rights itself again. Archer's Voice An Exquisite Love Story
Reviewed: 09-01-16
If you could sum up Archer's Voice in three words, what would they be?
Heartbreaking-Archer's life up to the time when he meets Bree,
wonder-in what Bree teaches him, and how she makes him feel like a man
forever-the kind of love Bree and Archer find
What other book might you compare Archer's Voice to and why?
Bright Side by Kim Holden, because Kate loved Gus so much that she was in his life everyday whether it was in person or a phone call away, and she knew that she needed to push him to be the best he could be.
Bree and Archer learned very fast that they had feelings for each other, but Bree had to let Archer realize what love meant and that he was worthy of it.
Also even after Kate found love with another man, she still kept Gus close to her heart every single day, and at the end of her life Gus finally admits he loved Kate like a man loves a woman, but he felt she deserved someone better, and so he let her do that.
What does Kris Koscheski and Emily Durante bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
As we listen to the book I could hear Emily speaking to Kris like they were Bree and Archer, and I got the sense of how patient Bree is to Archer and how when Kris is portraying Archer, I can hear how much Archer has come to love Bree in such a short time, and how they both have come to depend on each other in all different ways. They were both broken but they healed each other.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book was really sad in the beginning and we learn of how Archer has grown up all alone and as I read about his life it was extremely upsetting. On the other hand, when we see that Archer realizes he loves Bree and she is returning his love, no matter the circumstances-that was so awesome and made me very happy!
Any additional comments?
