Hailey, I must admit I wasn't ready for the torture parts, but dang did you give a good story. I like these characters and you have developed each one with their special characteristics to look forward to. Bravo...very good writing.
Greg, You are the Metahumans! Bravo!
Listener, this is an intense book that has elements of fear, love, sadness, excitement..I think I went thru every emotion with it...it's best to start from the beginning of this series, but you could listen to this one alone. It won't mean as much, but you can do it.

At the shooting gallery, though, Hazard comes face to face with one of his old bullies: Mikey Grames. Even as a drugged-out wreck, Mikey is a reminder of all the ugliness in Hazard’s past. And Mikey seems to know something Hazard doesn’t - something about the fresh tension brewing in town. When the Chief of Police interrupts Hazard’s day at the fair, she has a strange request. She doesn’t want Hazard and Somers to solve a murder. She wants them to prevent one.

Gregory, I wasn't ready for the torture scene, but got thru it as you wound the story around and around. You have created another true novel that one must listen to and reason with and in some ways, fear. That makes for excellent writing. Congratulations again. You have impressed me again!
Tristan, they just aren't Hazard and Somerset without you! Bravo! Excellent job.
Listener, get ready...this is a ride...a good ride, a scary ride, a thoughtful ride, a confusing ride...but it pulls together and Gregory Ashe does it again. You could listen to this one independently, but I strongly recommend you get book 1 and keep on to the end. They are worth it.

After almost 20 years, Emery Hazard finally has the man he loves. But things with his boyfriend and fellow detective, John-Henry Somerset, are never easy, and they’ve been more complicated lately for two reasons: Somers’s ex-wife and daughter. No matter what Hazard does, he can’t seem to get away from the most important women in his boyfriend’s life. While Hazard struggles with his new reality (changing dirty diapers, just to start), a bizarre murder offers a distraction.

Gregory, you have put together an intriguing tale with twists and turns, philosophical quests, and just a plain old excellent piece of work! I commend you for the intricacy of the plot and the thought behind the many different aspects of life's questions. Your're writing is refreshing, as well as, intriguing. Bravo!
Tristan, no one else could do this like you. You are these characters and I so appreciate listening to your adorable tones and tenures...
Listener, get ready to listen because there are twists and turns that if you don't pay attention, you'll miss the story. You'll think, you'll feel, you'll laugh...and even though the best course of action is to listen to each book leading up to this one, I rarely ever say this, but you could listen to this one all on its own and find an excellent piece of work.

Prince Jessamine Senera is ready to sacrifice his happiness in a loveless marriage for his family’s benefit...but not yet. He dreams of adventure, excitement, and true love.

Kayleigh, different and I liked it. It took on some darkness that is so vampiric it took me by pleasant surprise. I liked the antagonism you created in the characters and the development became wonderfully interesting the more I got into it. Good job...
Darcy, I really enjoyed your interpretation of these characters. I look very forward to hearing more from you.
Listener, This is a very different kind of vampire story that I enjoyed the more I got into it. It took 3-4 chapters for me, but once I did, I was engulfed into the story and characters. I wish the other books were on Audible, but I have to say, I will get the next one and read it if these don't come out soon on audible.

Trained as an off-the-books government assassin and spoken about only in whispers, Evan Smoak was one of the most talented - and most feared - men in the Program. Listener, start from the first one, don't worry about the little short stories in between that you have to buy for too much for too short a story, but get into the full novels and I think you'll find the development and story line quite intriguing.

A.G., an interesting continuation, although I did enjoy the first one better. It's a good continuation though. The third one is getting not so shining reviews, so I am leery of getting it, but I will just to round out the story and hope for the best. I so enjoy your writing, but perhaps an apocalypse is an end that should just be as it is sometimes...
Edoardo and Amanda, I enjoyed your interpretation of these characters. I must admit I always have a hard time with female voices, and have very few I will listen to, but you did a good job Amanda - I was pleased.
Listener, a good continuation. Listen to the first one or this one won't make any sense. It brings some good action into play and helps to perpetuate an understanding of the depicted world created by this author.

Harper, this is a true piece of artistic literature. I am more impressed with this piece of work that you have created than any other I have heard by you. The character development, the setting, this all came together into an amazing piece of work. Bravo..
Hamis, I don't believe I have ever heard your narration before, and I absolutely adored what you did with these characters. The Viking I had to get used to, but I did and as he "warmed" up, even he came alive and you found his voice. Bravo to you also.
Listener, this one is good. Harper takes a little bit of time, not much, just don't let it go, to get the story set, but once it is, it is fascinating how it winds and twists and has elements that will surprise you. There are elements that may seem supernatural to many, but when you open your mind to the possibilities of faith, love and belief, I honestly believe you will find it to be a fascinatingly wonderful piece of work.
