Attempted to tie all loose ends in an unbelievable plot twist. Typically there is credibility in her endings, not this time. Disappointed.

In the very beginning, you guessed the ending, and keep telling yourself that can’t be the ending because it’s so ridiculous. Surprise! It is a ridiculous ending.

The narrator’s child and male voice is almost unbearable. Had this been my first book by this author and I hadn’t known what a great author she was, I would have quit at the beginning.

The author puts you in the place of the Magdalene girls, and it’s a piece of history that I never knew about. It’s definitely worth your time to hear about this tragedy and God’s glory
