Story
Left for dead in the fields of rural Oregon, a young woman defies all odds and survives - but she awakens with no idea who she is, or what happened to her. Refusing to answer to "Jane Doe" for another day, the woman renames herself "Water" for the tiny, hidden marking on her body - the only clue to her past. Taken in by old Ginny Fitzgerald, a crotchety but kind lady living on a nearby horse farm, Water slowly begins building a new life. But as she attempts to piece together the fleeting slivers of her memory, more questions emerge....

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The entire book lacked creativity and interest. It failed to present as anything new or different, simply another book about some kind of monster, throwing cars around.
What could Matthew Reilly have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Well, let's start with some characters we could give a damn about. These really didn't touch anything in me. Also, give them something worth fighting for.
Would you be willing to try another one of Rich Orlow’s performances?
No
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
