I really enjoyed this book. I have read it multiple times and never grow tired of the story. I like the dedication, that she wrote it based on her grandpa. As always, this narrator does a wonderful job. Would recommend any of this author's books. They are very good.

When Sloan Booker’s father dies tragically, he has no other option but to give up his job as an FBI agent and take over his family’s vehicle restoration business in Oahu, Hawaii. Giving up his badge is difficult but having Homeland Security and his old boss request the use of his house in a stakeout, spying on his Muslim neighbors who they suspect are terrorists, is just too damn much for a man already frazzled. It makes no difference that they’ve offered him a partner to be in charge of the surveillance...until he meets the gorgeous divorcee.

This is a Must Listen book for those of us who are really enjoying this series.. Or,For those who enjoy law enforcement, not high intensity genre.. Each of the books in this series are a standalone story,, but following a similar theme, focusing on a Special agent carrying out policing duties..it also tells about their personal relationships and background.
Very creative stories with unique characters.
The narration was good and the narrator easy to listen to..
Enjoyable audiobook!!

Special agent indeed, Kandice Warner is everyone’s best friend. Talk about a Barbie doll! This female might have the same pretty-girl looks but even though she has a tender heart, she also has the resilience needed for a very successful FBI hostage negotiator. Feelings of inadequacy constantly force her to prove that she’s tough, and she demonstrates her courage when dealing with a murderous bank robber, a desperate jumper, being stalked, kidnapped, and beaten.

The books in this series are all built on the premise of a Special Agent in some type of law enforcement,, but each book tells a very different story. That is what makes me say that the author is so very creative.
She creates a variety of characters and all of them are quickly developed along with their unique quirks.. The story for each is set in a different city and department,, with each Special Agent doing a different type of job..
I really look forward to reading the next book in the series to see what the author has come up with..
The narration is easy to listen to and quite good
It is a great series and I cannot wait to listen to the next adventure.

Story
When an armored car hijacking leaves two men dead, Arizona Sheriff Jim Weber takes the crime personally, because one of the dead men is his brother-in-law. His hunt for the killers leads him into a world of sordid sex, deceit, and violence, with a suspect list that includes jilted women, a family of anti-government survivalists, and the beautiful wife of the richest man in town. With a plot that has more twists and turns than an Arizona mountain road, a cast of characters you won't soon forget.

I enjoyed the narration. It was well done.
I will definitely read more books by this author.

I really enjoyed this book.. It is not often that you can experience history in this way.. Reading someone's real feelings about what is taking place..
You can learn all about the facts of what happened during an important and familiar. time in the past, but you don't usually get to experience a live reaction to the actual events.
I felt that the narrator of this book did a good job and made it easy to listen to.
For any history buffs and anyone that just wants to listen to a good book,, this is a must listen.

Creepy psychological thriller – – psycho embalmer
Reviewed: 01-24-21
The author has created quite an interesting story line for this horror novel. This book is definitely creepy due to the character, the psychotic villain who carries out strange embalming rituals. I especially liked the police detective's tracking down this killer.
I was impressed with the narration and how the voices of the different characters were easy to recognize each person Voice varied even though it was only one narrator doing the job.
A well done audiobook.
