dude, sounds like he's recording in a bathroom and doesn't have a good “radio voice” as we say and has trouble pronouncing specific medical terms.
Decent content. Poor presentation.

Content is interesting. However, dialect requires concentration to mentally translate to modern, US English. Recommend listening to sample first and seeing if it makes sense.

Can not listen to to. Has a lisp and loud "S"es. It is being returned. I tried to listen to it but just cannot listen without focusing on the speaking. Listen to the sample first! Content is great but the speech impediment becomes a focus.

Unnecessary. This was a waste for an audiobook it may be OK in hardcopy but don’t even bother trying to listen to it

The closest NC coastline to Asheville is five hours. It’s distracting as the author makes references to locations that are illogical to travel to for home goods, clothes, bikes etc.

I just found this on my Audible account that my ex girlfriend downloaded. Note the "ex" aspect. Here is the thing. You cannot force and sway anyone to love you. Love is a choice and all you, as a woman, can do is be the best person you can be. Be kind. Use nice words. Do not instigate. Show love. If it does not work - then move on. No need to read a book. Just do your part and be your best.

I was born after the Vietnam war and never had much exposer to those who fought other than superficial conversation. I've always wanted to know more about what it was like being a soldier in that war. And I can tell you this, After listening I am glad that I was not born 20 years earlier. The hell that this audiobook describes is so real. It was as I was there. I could
Feel, see, taste and smell the events. From the comical and mundane to the grotesque I was there in Nam. And to think these men who fought for us came back to people spitting on them is disgusting.

Would you listen to You are a Badass again? Why?

I realized that I am a Badass under my facade

What was one of the most memorable moments of You are a Badass?

We are dying. We all are dying faster than we envision and I have allowed my past failures to define who I am to myself. I've permitted shame and fear to define the present.

Which character – as performed by Jen Sincero – was your favorite?

She was not always a Badass but made herself into one. Wikipedia defines Badass as Jen.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I took all my possessions and threw them off the 5th story balcony and freed up my world. Not really, but that is what I wanted to do.

Any additional comments?

I like Turtles.

Inspired By … The Bible Experience Audio Bible - Today's New International Version, TNIV: Psalms Audiobook By Inspired

Overly Dramatized with horrid background music

What did you like best about Psalms? What did you like least?

Dramatization overkill + Lame background non-sensical chimes, nature sounds and other noise = Miserable. Angela Bassett is way overly dramatized. Every single syllable of every single word is overly pronounces and the dramatization turns to annoyance. Couple that with background music that once would expect in a spa, it takes away from one's ability to absorb the meant of each Psalm.

Would you be willing to try another book from Inspired By Media Group? Why or why not?

No. This was not up to what my exceptions were.

Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrators?

Not if I see Angela Bassett's name in there. I saw Samuel L. Jackson and Cuba Gooding and though it was going to be awesome. Instead, it was was so grating that I had to turn it off.

Do you think Psalms needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

This questions is irrelevant an quite comical. Unless you are asking God you ain't gonna get a follow-up book.

Any additional comments?

Overall, I would look at other resources that will spare the reading and off-key singing.
