Story
The most important thing I’d ever read was scribbled on the door of a portable restroom, engraved into plastic at a carnival on the outskirts of Boston. Lust lingers, love stays. Lust is impatient, love waits. Lust burns, love warms. Lust destroys, but love? Love kills. Maybe it was always my destiny to fall in love with a monster. When other kids stayed awake at night fearing the pointy-toothed beast hiding in their closet, I longed to see mine.

Maddie Goldbloom stitched up a plan to ensure everything in her life was perfect - from a career in fashion to a chic NYC apartment to a pediatrician boyfriend. When her ex, Chase Black, storms back into her life with an outrageous request, her immediate reaction is to refuse him. But he only wants to fulfill his father’s last wish. So even though he’s the man who broke her heart, playing his fiancée shouldn’t be hard, especially if it means she gets to watch the arrogant devil squirm a bit.

This was a good read/listen. I love all her books. It’s not what expected after reading some reviews but I think it was well put together. Mads and Chase made the perfect decoupling. It didn’t have a lot of side characters but the slow burn was well worth it. Good story

I asked for his criteria for bed buddies - that's the PG version. He swore at me and said he didn’t do groupies. And just like that, our friendship was off to a great start. Reese Forster was the starting point guard for the Seattle Thunder. Gorgeous. Cocky. Loved by the nation. He’s also attending preseason basketball training camp where I used to work.

This book is written for young adults. Charlie was a bit boring with the jokes- and believe me, she has a lot of stale questioning jokes. I fell in love with Reese. Long story but not worth a credit

He told me to settle. He asked what was wrong with me. He called me an easy target. That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks. I labeled him an asshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha. He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother. Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

Lots of violence, talk of violence and angst. But a really good story. Best when you go in blind and not get any spoilers. I look for spoilers with every book but I’m glad I didn’t read them after another reviewer said not too. Great love story

Redeem itself from book 1
Reviewed: 10-27-20
This audio story was wayyy better than book 1. Jesse was wonderful in this book. All Alex new friends were good but not in the beginning. There was no epilogue but you got a good understanding of the future. Ethan secret was related to the parents and I’m glad Jesse felt it wasn’t his secret to tell but it all came out in a dramatic way. Good book

Story
Devin and Ayden were my best friends. We were practically joined at the hip since age two. When we were kids, we thought we were invincible, inseparable, that nothing or no one could come between us. But we were wrong. Everything turned to crap our senior year of high school. Devin was turning into a clone of his deadbeat lowlife father - fighting, getting wasted, and screwing his way through every girl in town. I'd been hiding a secret crush on him for years.

I love this book so much. Even tho the first part had me feeling kinda stretchy. I really thought it was a joke but it turned out to be a beautiful story. I just hate a female had to voice both parts. Authors need to tell you before each chapter if it’s the male or female. I thought at first, Ophelia was in the military so that was confusing but the ending was wonderful

The story was ok. I just don’t get how college aged adults can be so possessive of their girlfriends. Maybe it’s a UK thing but to constantly call your gf ‘mines’ is annoying. The narrators was awful when they switch from female to male especially the female. Kinda weird
