Alexandra is pissed about her parents abandoning her. She's beyond pissed that her friends did the same. She's enraged because things are unclear about her brother's death now. So her first stop is at Jesse's house to demand answers. She wants to know why her brother was friends with the criminal crowd before he died, and she knows he holds the answers. But when she sees him, she doesn't get the answers she expected. Instead, she finds out that their chemistry never faded and soon heats up again!

Some habits die hard. Soon Jesse and Alex are back to their ways of sneaking around. He's a near-celebrity at school and she doesn't want to deal with the backlash of being his girlfriend. Alex is tired of being hurt so she's learned the lesson not to confide and lean on others. However, she can't seem to help herself when it comes to Jesse Hunt. The big question isn't if she will survive if their relationship goes public, it's if she will survive when the real truths about her family and brother come out? Or when she learns that Jesse knows more than what he's told her?

Contains mature themes.

This audio story was wayyy better than book 1. Jesse was wonderful in this book. All Alex new friends were good but not in the beginning. There was no epilogue but you got a good understanding of the future. Ethan secret was related to the parents and I’m glad Jesse felt it wasn’t his secret to tell but it all came out in a dramatic way. Good book

Redeem itself from book 1

I enjoyed this novel. Broken and Screwed 2 continued right where book 1 left off. These flawed characters were complex and definitely broken. I loved Jesse. To me he was perfect. Alex was another story. There were times I just did not like her in the story. I loved the secondary characters, they added balance and support to the MC.
Drama, secrets and lies were all unearthed in this story. It was an emotional roller-coaster and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The book was narrated by Jillian Macie. Again she did an excellent job with the story. She brought the characters to life and I enjoyed listening to her. I would definitely recommend this novel for lovers for New Adult romances.

I Enjoyed it

Another great story by Tijan. I loved the way all the pieces of storyline developed and came together to a believable conclusion. The ending doesn’t leave you hanging with unanswered questions.

I wish this was updated like the book. I’m not sure why but sometimes I like to follow along while the narrator reads and it was a little hard with this B&S 1&2 because the narration hasn’t been updated like the books have. Either way, I still love this series.

Definitely listen to Broken & Screwed before part 2. Alex goes to college and tries to deal with her parents abandonment and discover the secrets about her brother and his death. The relationship between Alex and Jesse grows and changes. Full of heartbreak, humor and HEA. Highly recommended!

My favorite by Tijan

There needs to be another book to this series. I love all the books I read from Tijan, she is a great writer. All of her books need to be made into a movie or series on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime etc. I can't put these books down.

I loved it! Tijan knows how to write about mean girls, troubled heroines and their men.

This book in the series was better than the first one.

the hurt that this woman has to endure not only from her parents but also how her childhood crush has such strong feelings.for her but has such a hard time revealing it to her that he hurts her along the way but also has such deep.love for her at the same time but chooses such yoyo ways to show her how he truly feels about her

the love of Jesse for Alex and how awful, cold hearted and selfish her parents are to her

This was a great conclusion to the first book in the duet. It picked up exactly where the first book left off and answered all questions from the first book. The thing I liked most about this story was that Alex didn’t let her friends opinions influence her decisions like she did in the first one. I also loved that Jesse fought for her in this one. He knew exactly what he wanted and there wasn’t anyway he was walking away.

Now onto what I didn’t like. There wasn’t much, but I did feel like some parts were rushed. I feel like every time things got good, it was brushed over in a quick recap of a time jump and then some other drama would happen. I also felt like the ending was kinda rushed. The last handful of chapters were just really blurred together. I’m not sure if there was a page limit or a word count that the author was attempting to stay at, but I feel like it would’ve done the characters more justice to have expanded on some of those scenes. Or even to have written a third book. Which brings me to my last complaint, no epilogue. I love books with epilogues. I know this is an older story so maybe it wasn’t such a popular thing back then, but again I think it would have done Alex and Jesse justice to give them an epilogue. They deserve a true happily ever after, and we deserve to see it after all of the drama we suffered through! Overall though, I really enjoyed the book, I just really wanted more for them at the end!

Great Conclusion
