Story
Single mom Jess Davis is a data and statistics wizard, but no amount of number crunching can convince her to step back into the dating world. After all, her father was never around, her hard-partying mother disappeared when she was six, and her ex decided he wasn’t “father material” before her daughter was even born. Jess holds her loved ones close but working constantly to stay afloat is hard...and lonely. But then Jess hears about GeneticAlly, a buzzy new DNA-based matchmaking company that’s predicted to change dating forever.

Entertaining story

Shayla Blacks books are always entertaining, but it was hard getting past the narrator. also, these are not standalone books. You definitely should read them in order.

Story
Maggie Warren has always been unfocused. She hops from job to job, and relationship to relationship. Most of the time, she's not even looking where she's going. Which is exactly what happens when she runs into Isaac Gregory. Isaac's never met anyone like Maggie. She's nothing like the women he works with, or the submissives he typically dates. Sure, she's got a knockout body and a wit to match, but she's a free spirit and hopelessly scattered. He should not be attracted to her. But he is. After hearing she's between jobs, he offers her his recently vacated personal assistant position.

The performance makes or breaks the book

This was not one of Tara Sue Me’s best books and the narrator was cringe-worthy.

Could not get passed the narrator
Reviewed: 05-06-14
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The story did keep my attention because I wanted to see what would happen with the main characters
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Honestly, I could not get passed the narrator...the story kept my attention but would have been soooo much better with a "younger" narrator. She just sounded too "mature" for this particular story...the character was supposed to be in her 20's and the narrator's slavic/russian? accent was ANNOYING..
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
YES
