Story
Jesus commands us to love our neighbors. So why are so many Christians taught to fear their neighbors? The American church is known as a people who are afraid, who have been nurtured through fear into hatred, and who have moved from hatred to violence - or at least to neglect. This fear, too often lived out boldly in the name of Jesus, is a false religion.

Story
Self-initiation is killing our young men. Without strong mentors, boys are walking alone into a wilderness of conflicting messages about who they should be as men. It's no wonder that our sons are confused about what the world expects from them and what they should expect of themselves. The Intentional Father is the antidote. This concise book is filled with practical steps to help men raise sons of consequence—young men who know what they believe, know who they are, and will stand up against the negative cultural trends of our day.

I dare say asking better questions will not only help our walk with the Bible but also our walk in life. I took a class at my work on how to ask better questions it opened my eyes to just how important it is and how dangerous our assumptions can be. I also learned that I had some pretty bad habits around how I asked questions, I would often want to start with the why questions but I learned that those types of questions are rarely helpful and are typically divisive. To truly get to better answers you have to start with better questions and ones that are inclusive and open by nature. Thank you Marty for your brave and wonderful work done here. I am looking forward to listening to this book over and over again as I Haggah it. Much love, Cory
