So good!

The Harry Potter books and movies are the very best in fantasy literature. I only wish I could go back to experience in the first time again. I love the depth of emotion and intensity! Best wizard duel in this one.

Story
Many people today talk about justice, but are they living justly? They want to change the world, but are they being changed themselves? Eugene Cho has a confession: "I like to talk about changing the world but I don't really like to do what it takes." If this is true of the man who founded the One Day's Wages global antipoverty movement, then what must it take to act on one's ideals? Cho does not doubt the sincerity of those who want to change the world.

For years, Jesaela has longed to visit the home of the Eldar, but what happens when your dream becomes a nightmare? Ripped from her family and home in the forest to become companion to a princess she’s never met, Jes soon discovers the far-off beauty is a lie. The Citadel is a den of darkness and cruelty, with forces and prophecies lurking within the crystal battlements, ready to ensnare the innocent and unwary. Caught up in an ancient war she never knew was being fought, Jes may be her people's only hope.

Pretty good story, great performance by readers.

This fantasy novel has a good premise and it will be interesting to see where they go with the story in the subsequent volumes. There are some awkward tendencies the author uses that make it feel a little cheesy and awkward such as using the word “Maker” in place of God in an expression such as, “Thank the Maker” or just “Maker” as a sign of frustration. It happens a lot and just doesn’t work. There are a handful of cuss words that just don’t seem to fit. The narrator does an excellent job and is easy to listen to and really pulls you into the story. Overall it is a decent book, moves along at a decent pace and has an interesting story line, I hope it improves with each volume and I am looking to see where the story goes.
