Doesn’t begin to live up to Rice’s earlier works

I have read all of Luanne Rice’s novel. I have loved her stories for years. When I saw she had something new out I was anxious to read it. Turns out this was the dumbest story she has ever almost put together. I was extremely disappointed

One of the most fulfilling books I've read recently.

Lisa Wingate's "Before We Were Yours" is a bittersweet page turner. I couldn't stop listening to it. Replete with mystery, intrigue, heartbreak, and romance, this novel reads like a true story. The author's research brings to the tale the emotion of one of the most appalling and cruel scandals in American history. Bravo, Lisa Wingate!
