Story
Stress is often associated with something negative and harmful. It's true that being chronically stressed out is linked to many diseases and accelerated aging. However, small amounts of it can actually be beneficial. There are many examples of something damaging actually being good for you, such as exercise or taking a sauna. Stronger by Stress is a manual for stress adaptation and hormesis. It's going to teach you the principles of stress science and how to leverage different beneficial stressors to become healthier, stronger, less worrisome, more resilient, and confident.

In The China Study, T. Colin Campbell revolutionized the way we think about our food with the evidence that a whole food, plant-based diet is the healthiest way to eat. Now, in Whole, he explains the science behind that evidence, the ways our current scientific paradigm ignores the fascinating complexity of the human body, and why, if we have such overwhelming evidence that everything we think we know about nutrition is wrong, our eating habits haven’t changed.

Self educate before you read this book, then it is a great read
Reviewed: 09-09-21
A great read with a lot if great information. Unfortunately the author makes his case as a 1 size fits all, me against the world, everyone else is wrong.
An improvement over the china study, yet failure to scale his positive findings lies in the chosen position of a crusader rather then trying to be a partner and influence change as a journey versus trying to force change.
With all this in mind, a great read I’d recommend to anyone that wants to take a step in the deep end on nutrition and all parties that have their own interests and profit in mind over your health.
