Horrible editing but good story
Reviewed: 06-13-24
If you stick with it it’s a good story. The editing is horrible. Like it was recorded on two different devices. Really good heroine story.

Perfectly wrapped up woman last seen

I wasn’t expecting A sequel but this book wrapped up everything. Great story and great characters. Awesome book, I would read Woman Last Seen first.

Story
April Clarke-Cliveden was the first person Hannah Jones met at Oxford. Vivacious, bright, occasionally vicious, and the ultimate It girl, she quickly pulled Hannah into her dazzling orbit. Together, they developed a group of devoted and inseparable friends—Will, Hugh, Ryan, and Emily—during their first term. By the end of the year, April was dead.

Horrible audio
Reviewed: 07-26-22
I am a huge fan of Ruth Ware! The audio is so bad it’s distracting! I have tried to get into this book over and over but I just can’t with the echo audio. I’m about a hour in and I’m giving up. No way I can deal with that for any longer. I hope they fix it asap.

Story
Two women. Many aliases. Meg Williams. Maggie Littleton. Melody Wilde. Different names for the same person, depending on the town, depending on the job. She's a con artist who erases herself to become whoever you need her to be—a college student. A life coach. A real estate agent. Nothing about her is real. She slides alongside you and tells you exactly what you need to hear, and by the time she's done, you've likely lost everything.
