Story
When I was 17, I disappeared. I walked out the door of my apartment with a backpack and never looked back. I left the life of Cora Mitchell behind, seeking freedom from my real-life nightmare. But my freedom came with a cost. I lived a fictitious life for the next six years, never letting anyone close enough to see underneath the façade that was Andra Walker. I was content with my simple little life. Until I met Julian.

Too wordy
Reviewed: 08-18-22
The story line was good but it dragged a bit and was boring at times. We don’t really need to know how everything single thing tasted, smelled, sounded, etc. I actually fell asleep a few times while listening.

The Narration 😵💫
Reviewed: 06-14-22
I think this story may be ok and I’d probably enjoy it. BUT…the narrator is so robotic it makes me crazy. Its very hard to listen and pay attention. I had high hopes but I’m not sure I can finish it. 😑

Story
Maggie Patel has landed her dream job at The New York Spectator; or, it would be, if she could get a decent story assignment. When a career-making interview finally lands on her desk, it’s with the last person she’d ever want to see again — Edward, the Crown Prince of Bairmorne...and her long-ago friend.

Background noise was distracting
Reviewed: 01-20-22
I loved the full cast, but the background noise was too loud, distracting and annoying. I almost didn’t finish it because of it. Again, I loved the full cast narration, but the story itself was a bit boring and too predictable.

Story
Once upon a time, there was a girl who dressed up and went to a big party at the palace. When she was there, she met a prince. They danced and fell in love. Damn good line. Too bad I don’t believe a word of it anymore. My name is Claire Montgomery, and I’m not a princess. I’m a fighter. I worked hard to earn my place on the emergency image repair team for one of the biggest public relations companies in the country. We’ve been called to the renowned Chicago headquarters of Stone Global Corporation, where it’s our job to clean up a heap of the Stone family’s filthiest laundry.

Why is she whispering??

The female narrator makes this story boring and hard to follow. The story itself isn’t very good either. I am halfway through…and I don’t think I can finish it.

Good story

I love the story and Rachel van Dyken is my favorite. I did not enjoy the male narrator though. He seemed to be screaming the entire time, and just went overboard at times. I couldn’t listen to him.
