Story
When Jack and Elizabeth meet as college students in the gritty '90s Chicago art scene, the two quickly join forces and hold on tight, each eager to claim a place in the thriving underground scene with an appreciative kindred spirit. Fast-forward twenty years to suburban married life, and alongside the challenges of parenting, they encounter the often-baffling pursuits of health and happiness from polyamorous would-be suitors to home-renovation hysteria.

Predictably slow

I kept hoping for a twist. Predictable from early on. The drinking game for this book is to take a shot when you hear the words “STOP, STOP, STOP!”. You will be drunk and may enjoy the book more.

Very disappointed

I kept waiting for this book to pick up flow as the previous two. If this were the first book I would not have read any more from her. I stuck with it for Joe but it was trash. 🗑️

Grueling

What was most disappointing about Tina Seskis’s story?
I kept hanging in there and waiting for the awesome twists in the end that the other reviews spoke of but I was left thoroughly disappointed.
What didn’t you like about Elizabeth Knowelden and Paul Fox ’s performance?
I found Elizabeth a bit lifeless and monotone. Paul's performance was fine.
