This is a really angry book. The wordage is antique at best and would not even be used in a normal sense. Also im a huge critic on narrators. My best advice is to listen to the sample version. I was disappointed because it was recommended to me by someone who read and not listened the book multiple times And thought it was great.

I would like to think more of these unfortunate scenarios end as happy as this one. I think there are a lot of people whose lives are ruined because of similar situations.
Although it’s not mentioned, this is how imprinting on one another can have such profound effects .

I always love to hear how a narrator is going to portray other characters. I’m not convinced that this island would have these accents, but they are hilarious. All of the older people have this hoity-toity accent while anyone that’s a male has a laid back, breathiness to it, and then if they are celebrities in the book, their breathiness becomes even more exaggerated. It makes all of her books fun to listen to.

I really like this series and it’s fine to listen to. As an animal lover, I find it clever to bring mystery, reading, and awareness to animal rescue all in one. I have been huge supporter of best friends animal sanctuary, which is not far from me.

I’m a tue believer that the reader can either make or break a book. A certainly do not want to criticize the narrator by any means, however I just did not mesh with her reading style. It sounded forced and breathy I would highly recommend previewing it. unfortunately, I could not finish the book.
