Best Audible I’ve ever heard

The story and learning points are masterful. The relationship between Goggins and his editor is very nuanced. The editor voices Goggins really well and encapsulates his mindset during each new chapter in his encyclopedia of experiences.

As a side note, Goggins has really helped me turn my health around for the better and sharpen my mindset.

Now it’s a matter of execution for me. This book was the kick in the balls I needed to wake up.

On a sidenote, I would love this team to write and voice more. The podcast approach after each chapter really helped me absorb the story much more.

I have been an SEO practitioner for over a decade and Jason’s teachings have blown up my previous understanding of semantic SEO, branding, data, and what Google is really doing. His podcasts, webinars, books, tools, and courses on Kalicube have led me to rethinking and redeveloping my approach to both enterprise SEO and personal branding online.

The book is succinct and built to put into action. No fluff and a great reading by Lyndon. There are some profound moments and it felt like Amy was actually coaching me. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because I really wanted her to number the 15 point checklist. I think I counted over 20 points 😂

A nice ode to Dr. Dyer

Parts of the story shook me to my core but the affluent life of Serena and Sage felt hard to identify with.
For newcomers to the Dyer clan, this is a good start but I prefer I can see clearly now. I was confused by the authors speaking about their journeys in 3rd person. However, this was a good first outing. If the authors continue their journey, it would be nice to make the teachings of Wayne Dyer more accessible to those who have suffered trauma and can’t figure out how to come from a place of love more often.

Self help or autobiography?

I listened to this in one sitting and just felt the entire piece was Jim patting himself on the back. After discussing how he lost weight by limiting his calories and found his work energy, then flipping websites with the help of God, it got kinda hard to hear. I wish he would’ve taken his kids on more trips. I also wish the entire book was about Learning and cultivating your work energy but instead it’s more of an autobiography with the idea of work energy powering you through. And then he isolates a huge portion of the audience that believes they ate failures as underdogs.

Then he takes the wind out of any momentum with the story of Sam.

There were some ok tips and maybe after I read the big leap, I’ll understand more.

Perhaps Gay should have done the foreword on this.

If the important stuff would have been spoken about more, it would have been a bit better for me personally.

These CDs turned into audio recordings don't have the full brunt of Jim's message. They just touch the surface. Worth the price but would love something more. Like the entire workshop. Not just CD 1.

I love Rohn but what this recording lacked was actionable steps. Good theories and amazing insights but not enough actionable steps.
