Fantastic voices

Linda Berdoll manages to do justice, in my opinion, to Jane Austen’s sardonic humor. It’s a bit more blatant than Miss Austen, but no less enjoyable. Her voice is a wonderful complement to the original work.
Rosalyn Landor, also, does a fantastic job of playing the characters. I approved of her interpretation of each character, and found myself transported into the story rather than occasionally cringing at some portion of the performance.
Well done ladies! And a fantastic story to enjoy!

I quite enjoy the book. I love all the variations of the original in these variations. For this one I like the characterization of Richard Fitzwilliam, in particular his now being a Vicount, as well as the author’s own character of his sister Lady Rebecca.
The problem with this audiobook is that the recording is very badly edited. There are a number of areas where words are repeated because the audio wasn’t cut correctly. There are also quite a few long pauses that don’t belong in the audio, which seem very much to be an editing artifact, not a part of the performance. Plus, there are areas where the actress obviously used clapping or snapping to note where she’d made mistakes and editing was needed, but there are areas where the editing appears not to have happened at all. I don’t know if it’s possible, but I’d love for this recording to be re-edited and re-uploaded. It’s very frustrating to listen to when it occurs.

You don't have to listen to any of the other books in the series first. It's 100% stand-alone. Miranda Colilla needs a mate. Fast. This curvy lioness wants a man she can bend to her will, who will stay out of her business, and let her lead like the alpha she is. She needs that mate urgently before the lions in her pride think she's going to hand the reins over to one of them and let them tell her what to do. Not in this lifetime. When a wolf saves her hide, there's more than just gratitude sparking between them.

Reader needs a better flow

The story was really fun, but I just couldn’t handle the reader. Too many pauses and lurches made the flow nonexistent, especially during the explicit scenes.
