predictably simple clap trap. narrator nails a mix of jack webb and gary cooper. voices women well however.

i loved the thursday murder club series, likable characters, wit and more wit, and plots that worked seamlessly. this book, i’m convinced was written by the first iteration of some AI chip.

the first question i would pose to mr. phillips is rhetorical- “did you have a happy childhood or are you funny”? he’s an exquisite wordsmith and i laughed out loud throughout. mr. ganser’s performance was seamless, as if he wrote the words himself. every character was voiced so wonderfully his talent is unmatched imo.

I read so many great reviews I decided to waste a credit. It’s predictable drivel. The Hardy Boys are more compelling. Don’t.

I should be paid for having listened to this soap opera of disjointed drivel. Waste of time. Waste of money.

Tandem is jarringly realistic in the emotions it evokes by characters as written and readers alike. Fear, trepidation and sadness to name a few. But the pick me up is the use of dark humor by the author. It succeeds in a well written, balanced and nicely plotted novel!

Jack Carr may be a war hero, but he’s no writer. He’s a reptile brained wing nut with an agenda that in this day and age is likely dangerous.

If Matt Goldman wrote this book he did so when he was 10. None of his trademark humor, the storyline was drivel built on convolution.

Mr. Joy has a way with words to put it succinctly. Mr. MacLeod delivers those words with the acumen of the greatest story teller ever.
