an age-old classic so well depicted and rendered in this version. the old English vernacular is a little difficult to understand at times, but this version takes you straight back to Old England. A wonderful job

from the perspective of a gamer, this was a wonderfully written, beautifully constructed, and extremely realistic View of the gaming world. Excellent job, excellent reader, it was just tops all the way around. If you liked the movie War games from the 80s, I believe you would love this. It was a little slow starting, but well worth it in the end. Listen all the way through, it's is worth it for a Fantastical Escape

an enjoyable story to get lost in

another very good representation of Christmas Romance. I enjoyed the picturesque writing along with the conversations. I believe the editing could have been more thorough, however it was not such that would make me turn off the audio. I enjoyed the turns and the wrap-up. There were some very nice moments of intrigue that kept me listening. I enjoyed the choices and directions of the story. Could have been a little less authorly in parts. overall I appreciate the conservative views of expletives. A very enjoyable story overall.

it took a chapter or two to get into, the language for me was a little more than I am used to. The verbal abuse was not something I cared for. I thought the story was very well done and the reader did an excellent job with voices. the twists and turns and surprises were very well placed and scripted.

Imagine it were possible to bring the characters from a book to life. Not like when you listen to an audiobook with such enchantment that the characters seem to jump off the pages and into your bedroom...but for real. Imagine they could actually climb out of the pages and into our world. Then imagine if those characters brought their world into ours.

well the story took a few chapters to get into, the writer had sufficient twists and turns to keep it completely interesting and wondering what was going to happen next. I thoroughly enjoyed the reader with a beautiful British accent, and plenty of different voices to accommodate the various characters. I loved the Simplicity of the year it was set in. And the wrap-up was wonderful. if you like to remove yourself from the technological advancements of this Century this is a wonderful distraction. Wonderfully submersive, with believable characters... even the genie.

not really biography

the narrator was more like a stadium speaker or a play-by-play announcer. the content seems to be more Scholastic rather than story lead. This does hit every highlight of every one of our founding fathers but I felt lacks a lot of information between the cracks. I learned a lot, however I was more interested in their lives as personal rather than historical. basically not what I expected.
