Story
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

Story
Rachel Hollis has seen it too often: women not living into their full potential. They feel a tugging on their hearts for something more, but they’re afraid of embarrassment, of falling short of perfection, of not being enough. In Girl, Stop Apologizing, number-one New York Times best-selling author and founder of a multimillion-dollar media company, Rachel Hollis sounds a wake-up call. She knows that many women have been taught to define themselves in light of other people - whether as wife, mother, daughter, or employee....

Beautiful! Hillarious! Life Altering Advice!
Reviewed: 01-13-20
The story-telling abilities of Shonda Rhimes are all encompassing. She tells it so well that you can actually feel as if you are sitting right beside her at the "campfire chat" . I didn't want it to end. The advice and shares is literally life altering. It is information so obvious that it makes you wonder how we went our whole lives without realizing some of it. She is dmart, charming, funny and honest. I will recommend this book to anyone who will listen to me. I will definitely be re-reading this book. Thank you Shonda for allowing me, the gentle reader to come along on this " year of yes journey with you"! I look forward to you writing and narrating more titles.

Story
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

not completely what I expected
Reviewed: 04-11-18
I Loved the information contained in this book. it gave me a different perspective on the way I keep items or discard them. although I was expecting a clearer definition of the tidying plan, it did give me a better idea on how to go about it. I will say that she almost puts me to sleep listening to her monotone speaking. and I believe she gave a bit too much personal information on what she wears, keeps, etc. but that's just my opinion.
