Story
Mary B. Addison killed a baby. Allegedly. She didn't say much in that first interview with detectives, and the media filled in the only blanks that mattered: a white baby had died while under the care of a churchgoing black woman and her nine-year-old daughter. The public convicted Mary, and the jury made it official. But did she do it?

In her message, Eleanor shares a tumultuous story about a headstrong young swimmer who escapes her island home under suspicion of murder. The heartbreaking tale Eleanor unfolds, the secrets she still holds back, and the mystery of a long-lost child challenge everything the siblings thought they knew about their lineage and themselves.

Absolutely loved it. Definitely was a "sit in the driveway and just listen for hours" audiobook. Not everything needs a part two but I'll be first in line if there is one.

As a first round draft pick for the devil's advocate crew (lol) I really wanted Shane to have a happy ending w/ ol boy. But Oh well... it is what it is

As always Cary delivered. Great book, I was rather hesitant at first for everyone to be alive again, but they did a good job bringing them back. I'm glad they settled their beef and I just know Carter isn't dead. On to book #5 (rubs hands like Birdman). Ready for the motion picture to be released.

Ashley and JaQuavis are my new faves. From "Murdah Mommas to "The Cartel" series I am hooked. Mecca was like a cat with nine lives. My fav character was "Z". Im not happy about the ending though. The narrator gives me life with his different accents. Loved it and can't wait to see what I'll read next from them.
