About this listen

New York Times best-selling authors Ashley and JaQuavis are back with the second installment in the epic Murderville series. Love, murder, loyalty, and money fill this hood tale as they continue this international street saga.

With Samad’s target on her back, Liberty must survive the harsh streets alone. But when a chance encounter pushes her into the arms of a new friend, Po, the two take on the California kingpin - and step full force into the game. As bullets and sparks fly, the unlikely pair embarks on a serendipitous journey back to where it all started: Sierra Leone. With a new overseas connection, Po sees an opportunity that is too good to pass up. When his pursuit of the American dream conflicts with Liberty’s past, will they be able to survive, or will the drug empire that they’ve built together come crashing down?

Ashley & JaQuavis are the New York Times best-selling duo responsible for the popular Cartel series. They live in Flint, Michigan, where they are working on future projects.

The author doesn't pull any punches

Any additional comments?

What can I say, this one kept my attention. Growing up in Detroit, some of the best parts of the story truly comes from real life. With that said, there is enough lighter moments thrown in to develop the characters. I typically listen to the audio books on my walk/bus/walk commute to work. I had a hard time putting this down!

cant get enough

this just blew me away. goes to show you cant trust just anybody. and to be forever vigilant and watchful of what's going on around you. its a little hard to believe that a powerful man could be so gullible.

I wanted more and more

I could not get enough of the 2nd book. I loved the fact that Liberty and Po ended up together, it was destiny. Dalia is the devil and I just hope Po realizes before it's too late.

Slightly predictable but a good story

Not as good as #1 but I still really enjoyed it. Some of the outcomes were a bit predictable but we'll narrated and a great story told!

This book was so well written I hated it!

I got so caught up in the story I was talking to myself. The actions of one character specifically infuriated me so much I might not read 3. Okay.I will definitely read it once I get out of my feelings. The story is A-1, the ending is a definite cliff hanger, it was very well written, to the point it almost seemed real. I literally could not stop listening to it. Great Job.
