Story
Darcy is tired of fighting his feelings. His heart knows what it wants, and that is Elizabeth Bennet. When he learns that Mr. Bennet has passed away, he imagines riding in as the white knight, a savior come to rescue his beloved from a life of poverty. But when he reaches Hertfordshire, something is amiss and he finds that Elizabeth needs no rescuing, thank you very much.

Wanted to like it

While there were some details I enjoyed, I had a hard time with both the narration and the pacing of the story. Wasted a credit.

Story
When Marlo is unceremoniously ghosted by her part-time lover, she decides she’ll need to avoid the whole Christmas season. That is actually pretty easy in this country, because it’s so hot and so far away from anything that means Christmas to her. But Marlo’s flatmate Alex is determined to lift her out of her grinch slump and convince her that Christmas Down Under may be unfamiliar, but exactly what she needs to start her life on a new course.

Just What I Needed
Reviewed: 12-17-22
This was a light, often funny story, perfect for driving home from work and then relaxing after a long day. The main character was a little annoying at times, but the supporting characters made up for that. While her roommate was unrealistically amazing, I really enjoyed their interactions as well as the interactions between the main character and her best friend. Overall, it was a very pleasant and satisfying diversion.

Story
It’s officially booty o’clock, I’m alone again in my kitchen choking down a slice of terrible chocolate cake…and I’m pretty sure I just got drunk texted by the man I have a ginormous crush on. I’ve been daydreaming about Eliot Hoffman’s dimples for two months, and even though I’m sure this was a mistake on his end, it doesn’t mean it’s not an opportunity on mine. It’s the middle of the night, and I just wanna talk to him. So I text him back.

LOVED this story! Clean, fresh, honest and enjoyable. I loved the conversations between characters and that they were more realistic. The voice actors did a wonderful job. I’m going to miss those characters!

Story
The simple truth is proven that sometimes a gentleman never knows his heart until a lady comes along to introduce it to him. When Mr. Darcy encounters Elizabeth Bennet injured after a fall, his concern for her welfare cracks the shell of his carefully guarded heart, and a charming man emerges. Elizabeth sees an appealing side of him she never believed possible from the stoic, proud master of Pemberley.

Delightful Reimagining
Reviewed: 02-25-21
This is a delightful reimagining of the classic story. I enjoyed hearing familiar lines used in unique ways and occasionally out of the mouths of different characters. I also relished the additional interactions between Elizabeth and Darcy, as well as a greater inclusion of their thoughts. This story offers that which every Pride and Prejudice fan wants: more time with the characters they love!
