Story
Bethany Elle’s story will leave you inspired, angry, hopeful, sad, and with a desire to know who God is and who you are. This book takes the listener through the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, the fear of memories, the desperateness to find help, and the shocking realizations that not all therapeutic environments or church bodies are safe.

You are real because He loves you.
Reviewed: 12-22-20
I Am Real is a book that follows Bethany as she struggles with identity, sexual abuse, mental abuse, and finding a place in the world. It never fails to strike me at the terrible things people and family can do to others, and causes me to ask "why trust anyone". The truth is also here, in that darkness and deceit there is light that shines through - in her life and those around her - of one who perseveres and loves, who is redeemed and forgiven, and whose life can be a blessing to many in the face of many obstacles so many would think of as overwhelming or insurmountable. I am real touches on so many things, but it really is a book about someone who finds the truth in who they are because of God, even when so many others aren't ready to see it.

Mind Blowing

This book was everything I hoped it would be, after the first two in the series my hopes were sky high, and it surpassed it in every way. Loved it. Answers all the questions, brings closure. Amazing.

Why the sex scenes? 🤮
Reviewed: 09-17-19
The story would have been so much better had the sex scenes not even existed. I had to skip over them, just pointless. They served no purpose, and made the whole thing feel trashy. Not sure why the author went this way, when the others were fairly tasteful. Although the “romance” through the whole series has been by FAR the worst part about it. Very poorly written.
