the best book I've read in a long time.

this book was very insightful, prehensive and spot on regarding family dysfunctional behavior. her prototypes were well developed, complex as needed while addressing all types of expected behavior and dysfunctional circumstances. I would recommend this book to anyone who is attempting to better understand human behavior, family Dynamics and relationships.

Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Surprisingly deep

Knowing McConaughey mainly as a rom-com actor who is light-hearted, I was pleasantly surprised and the deeply touching and intimate perspective that he brings and carries. I was looking for a funny light-hearted autobiography. He did not disappoint. However, he gave so much more. The spiritual depth, openness and kindness of the author shined through. Even though he touched on some heavy moments of his life, he always did it in a considerately light way not to depress the listener :). I woud definitely recommend. Very insightful.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Overwhelmingly powerful! Mesmerizing and beautiful story!

This is by far the best audio book I have ever heard. I have listened to many. Trevor Noah story is so powerful. The story will have you laugh than cry then laugh, laugh, laugh and then cry and then laugh again. It will touch you and parts that you don't even know exist. Cannot verbalize how important this story is to be heard. It is inspirational, informing, entertaining, and earth shattering. I've read never read anything like it before.
