Story
When souls are tied, it's never goodbye. A boy I was that summer evening I met you, pulling your belongings out of the truck and into your new home. I knew it was love then. A whole man I was the day that you met me at the altar and agreed to love me until death do us part. A shell of a man I've become since it did, unable to move on, move forward, or progress in any way until I discovered that not even death was permanent enough to keep us apart. A better man I'm destined to be, knowing that, at some capacity, you're still with me. Our love is one that never dies.

Such a beautiful story
Reviewed: 03-24-25
This book was not at all what I expected. I had heard it was going to be a sad story, but what I found was something far more profound. The love this man had for his wife was unlike anything you’d expect to find outside the pages of a novel – yet it was undeniably beautiful. The concept of his wife being reborn into Air was poetic and moving. Their love blossomed quickly and intensely, creating the most tender and heartfelt love story I’ve ever encountered. It left me in tears.

Wow!
Reviewed: 03-21-25
I waited until the end of the saga to review it again, and wow, what a huge family drama! Just when you think you have a grip on what’s happening, boom—another twist. If you read this series, you’ve got to be good at keeping up with multiple characters! Tashara has the potential to become a real force in the streets. I’d love to see the series continue, focusing on her growth, but since it was written in 2015-2016, I doubt it will. One thing I really appreciate about this series is how it highlights the women’s roles in the gang—something many other books, which usually focus on the men, often miss. The ending was sweet and satisfying, though—no loose ends!

Story
Memphis is the crime capital of America, and no one knows that better than the women born and raised on its mean streets. It's put sisters Ta'Shara and LeShelle on opposite sides of the street game, where blood means nothing and loyalty doesn't last long. It's also got Yolanda, an ambitious drug mule, and Melanie, a police detective, caught up with the same man - the notorious hustler Python. These four women think they've got the game figured out, but the one man they have in common will have them living double lives and wondering who will come out on top.

Unhinged and Unforgettable
Reviewed: 03-15-25
This book is absolutely unhinged! From a scandalous grandmother to a wild dancer, I can’t believe this is a real book. It starts a little slow, but once it picks up, it REALLY picks up! Let me be clear—this is not a love story! This is pure, gang-related smut. The storyline is gripping and full of twists! I’m definitely hooked and planning to read the entire series.

Oh, it came in hot! This book started off spicy, and I wasn’t even expecting that! Right from the get-go, I could tell it was going to be a hot girl summer kind of read. The romance was sizzling, and while the plot was a bit predictable at times, it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. It was still such an amazing, spicy read—the perfect listen for anyone looking for a fun, fiery romance!

I absolutely loved the narration! Tarji and Tracee are such a fun pair – they have this adorable dynamic that makes the story come to life. It’s about two friends who drifted apart over the years, but decide to reconnect by going on a vacation together. What follows is a hilarious, whirlwind journey filled with unlikely situations and plenty of laughs. Their adventures are completely silly, but that’s what makes it such a fun listen. It’s short, light-hearted, and perfect for a quick escape into a world of chaos and charm. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Story
Korede is bitter. How could she not be? Her sister, Ayoola, is many things: the favorite child, the beautiful one, possibly sociopathic. And now Ayoola’s third boyfriend in a row is dead. Korede’s practicality is the sisters’ saving grace. She knows the best solutions for cleaning blood, the trunk of her car is big enough for a body, and she keeps Ayoola from posting pictures of her dinner to Instagram when she should be mourning her “missing” boyfriend. Not that she gets any credit. Korede has long been in love with a kind, handsome doctor at the hospital where she works.
