Story
I've seen it all.... A boy who planned to be the next school shooter. A patient with OCD whose loved ones really did suffer every time he missed a ritual. A choir boy who claimed he was being molested - not by a priest - but by God Himself. A patient with PTSD who gave me nightmares. A husband and wife who accused each other of abuse, and only one of them was telling the truth.

Narrator isn’t the best

The bad narrating kinda took me out of the story at some points which kinda sucked since the story itself IS good.

Story
The 11th installment in the New York Times best-selling A Twisted Tale series asks: What if Meg had to become a Greek god? After Hercules proves he's a true hero and regains his godship, all seems right in the world. That is, until Zeus tells Meg that she can't be with Hercules because she's, well, mortal. Luckily, Hera has a solution, offering Meg a chance to prove herself worthy of a spot on Mt. Olympus - as a god. All Meg has to do is complete a mysterious quest.

Strong Female Lead!!!

We love Meg. She struggles with herself and her mind all while trying to earn herself a spot as a Goddess. I cried so hard at the end. ALSO pretty good twist with her old dude (the one that she sold her soul for). Very much worth it

Story
Death walks alongside me. But the reaper is no match for me. I'm trapped in a world full of monsters dressed as men, and those who aren't as they seem. They won't keep me forever. I no longer recognize the person I've become. And I'm fighting to find my way back to the beast who hunts me in the night. They call me a diamond. But they've only created an angel of death.

VERY DARK LOTS OF SPICE

It was *okay* I’m not upset about how dark it is but at a certain point I did have to stop reading. Mostly bc of the way homebro helps addy get through the trauma. It was a lil too much for me but just be warned going into it

Story
What if Belle's mother cursed the Beast? As Old as Time is the third book in a new YA line that reimagines classic Disney stories in surprising new ways. When Belle touches the Beast's enchanted rose, memories flood through Belle's mind - memories of a mother she thought she would never see again. And, stranger still, she sees that her mother is none other than the beautiful enchantress who cursed the castle and all its inhabitants.

It's a great take on Disney's The Beauty and the Beast. I loved it a lot and the narrator did a great job reading, especially with the voices.
