So much detail!
Reviewed: 05-11-23
I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and these books have SO much detail compared to the movies. Obviously the movies can’t be hours long like the books. It’s worth re-listening to all the books.

I really enjoyed this book. I had never heard of Slotnick so hearing some of his best cases only didn’t bother me. I did feel like the reading was very monotone but his accent was perfect for the story. I definitely recommend this book!

And he is ready to detail the cases that are too gruesome to air on television, cases that still haunt him, and the few cases where the killer got away. These cases are horrifyingly real, and the detail is so mesmerizing you won't be able to turn it off.

Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar’s brutal Medellín Cartel was responsible for trafficking tons of cocaine to North America and Europe in the 1980s and ’90s. The nation became a warzone as his sicarios mercilessly murdered thousands of people - competitors, police, and civilians - to ensure he remained Colombia’s reigning kingpin. With billions in personal income, Pablo Escobar bought off politicians and lawmen, and became a hero to poorer communities by building houses and sports centers.

This was my first book from Audible that I finished and I absolutely loved it! Ted Bundy was a little before my time so I really didn’t know much beside that fact that he was a serial killer. I feel she had so much information in there that it was like it was happening in current times, besides the handwritten letters and cigarettes in jail (haha)! Great book, great narration!
