Instant #1 New York Times Bestseller!

“Tough-but-tender cop Lindsay Boxer” (People) leads the Women’s Murder Club in the high-profile murder investigation of a billionaire San Francisco couple. As enemies lurk in the shadows, will Cindy, Claire, Yuki, and Lindsay still be standing when the clock strikes midnight?

SFPD Sergeant Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant District Attorney Yuki Castellano, and crime writer Cindy Thomas gather at one of San Francisco’s finest restaurants to celebrate exciting news: Cindy is getting married.

Before they can raise their glasses, there’s a disturbance in the restaurant. A woman has been assaulted.

Claire examines the victim. Lindsay makes an arrest. Yuki takes the case. Cindy covers it.

The legal strategy is complicated by gaps in the plaintiff’s memory—and the shocking reason behind her ever-changing testimony.

As Yuki leads the prosecution, Lindsay chases down a high-society killer whose target practice may leave the Women’s Murder Club short a bridesmaid … or two.

This series is getting old.

I’ve always love the women’s murder club books but they are losing their excitement and suspense. Same old same old. The last few have been meh.

Disappointing

This was bit as exciting or thrill packed as previous stories in this series. I was pretty disappointed.

The 24th hour

I love reading these books, but I was sad at how short it was. Overall it was a great read.

Fell short

After all of the other books in the series, this turned out to be a disappointment! There was less time of the women’s murder club meetings. Surprise at the culprit who killed husband and wife abrupt ending to the hospital computer debacle disappointing. Ending cozy. Is this the ending?

Way below the rest in series

My husband and I couldn’t wait for this book to end. Character to character, plot to plot, with no continuity. We think this series has run its course.

Another great Murder Club book

The women find themselves drawn into a rape case when they were having a surprise birthday lunch for Claire. Six months later, the case is brought to trial. Along with this case, Lindsay is trying to solve murders of a popular couple who were killed similarly but six months apart. Joe has a case of cyber attack that affects patients in a hospital. I liked the three stories in one plus will Cindy finally get married? January LaVoy's narration is perfect.

An exciting and comfortable read!

I love James Patterson books! His attention to detail makes me feel that I am "there" in person, that his characters are my friends. This one is no exception! Cannot wait for the next Women's Murder Club! 🩷
