Story
Social media comedian Heather Land uses her trademark sassy, laugh-out-loud humor to remind us of the many ways that real life can be really funny. Heather Land has something to say about almost everything in life - the unbelievable, inconceivable, and downright frustrating - and why she “ain’t doin’ it.” In her first book, Heather shines a light on the (occasional) ridiculousness of life through a series of hilarious essays, dishing on everything from Walmart and ex-husbands to Southern beauty pageants and unfortunate trips to the gynecologist.

I’m an Uostate New Yorker originally, but have lived in North Carolina for 24 years. The sound of the author’s voice adds to a fabulous story.

Overly excessive language
Reviewed: 01-11-23
I typically find Kevin Hart very entertaining. But starting at least 2/3rds of the way through, the vulgar language gets too overdone. So although the story was good, the MF stuff got overly done.

Another hit from Sue Grafton

This story, as all the Sue Grafton tales, has the perfect combination of intrigue and back story.

Amazing

After a tiring holiday season, I was looking for a humorous book for the sheer enjoyment. Fortunately I saw this book, which seemed like a perfect match for me since my friends frequently say “That could only happen to you!” I found so much more than a kindred spirit in life’s challenges, but such a spiritual uplift too. I highly recommend this book.
