Great storyline! Love the characters!
Reviewed: 01-11-22
I really enjoyed these first 4 books in this series, looking forward to the next 4! The overall storyline and build of the book is great! It is a little amateur with some of it's wording at times (such as an overuse -and not always properly so- of "he/she gave ... a kind smile") but the story more than makes up for some poor word choices occasionally!!! I am looking forward to completing the series!

Amazing story, not the best wrap up
Reviewed: 09-30-19
Loved this story loosely based on real life events. Extremely sad in parts. The epilogue was good but there needed to be a little more wrap up at the end of the story prior to the epilogue.

When American heiress Gwen Barton aids an injured gentleman in an opera box in London, she shares a kiss with the stranger that changes her life. More determined than ever to be herself, in spite of the limp she's sustained since childhood, she will marry for love and not a title.
