About this listen

In Dee Henderson's novella Betrayal, Janelle Roberts is freed - thanks to people she doesn't know - after serving six years of a 20-year sentence for a murder she did not commit. But a murderer is still at large, and Janelle needs to be somewhere safe with someone she can trust. She may not survive another betrayal.

In Dani Pettrey's Deadly Isle, Tennyson Kent is trapped on the isolated island of her childhood by a storm surge, and she is shocked when the typically idyllic community turns into the hunting grounds of a murderer. Cut off from any help from the mainland, will she and first love Callen Frost be able to identify and stop a killer bent on betrayal before they become the next victims?

In Lynette Eason's Code of Ethics, trauma surgeon Ruthie St. John saves the life of Detective Isaac Martinez. After a betrayal leads to him getting shot and then attacked while in recovery, Isaac is now a key witness determined to testify. But someone is intent on silencing him - and those around him - forever. Together, Ruthie and Isaac go on the run, desperate to escape the killers hunting him.

Left hanging

As a whole the novella was a good read. However, "Betrayed" felt unfinished at the end.

Three for one..

All three books were pleasant to listen to and kept me going. I liked the narrator's and it was a good way to introduce three new writer's that I'd never heard of before. Worth the listen...

Very Enjoyable!

I almost didn’t order this book because of some negative reviews. However, I am so glad that I did! I really enjoyed all of the storylines and I, personally, felt that the narrator did a great job. She did not sound robotic to me at all.

I really enjoyed all three stories. The plots were well developed for being short stories and very interesting.

Enjoyed this collection

All three stories were well written and so I have found three new authors who write clean stories with Christian values and yet are not too "preachy". I found the narrator to be good too and cannot agree with some of the negative reviews.

Excellent

I love that three of my favorite Christian authors wrote three novellas related to the protagonist being betrayed and the way they dealt with it.
I highly recommend this book!!

excellent suspense novellas

excellent novellas full of suspense - we did have trouble with volume control... we listen on the road and many times the narrator's softness was way too soft.
