Story
There is something in Evtorr’s ravings that piques Drekki’s interest and that he can't let go – the Dead Air is the last known location of the famed Barak-Minoz. If they can just get there… Well, Drekki Flynt can smell aether-gold a realm off, and surely Barak-Minoz is dripping with riches just ripe for the taking. But there are forces at work that would stop Drekki from finding out what happened to Barak-Minoz. To even locate it, he must do what no captain has ever done before – navigate the Eye of Testudinous, and live to tell the tale!

Amazing story had me on the edge of my seat since the beginning. right up to the end. Guy Haley does it again and with spades to spare.

Story
Drekki Flynt! Captain of the Aelsling, known throughout the Skyshoals of Achromia! Say his name and make half a tavern starry-eyed, while the other half mutters about how much money he owes them. Drekki Flynt! Uncommonly tall for a duardin – an adventurer, an endrineer, a wit, and a self-proclaimed genius. Drekki Flynt...is in trouble.

One hell of an adventure!

Absolutely loved it. High sky (miss) adventures of the renowned (begrudgingly) captain Drekki Flynt and his unique crew (who would throw him off the side of the ship if he didn’t owe them so much money) battling to save a city from the clutches of chaos! Will our brave adventures succeed in this endevor? Will they thwart the villains plans? Will they get paid?

Story
When the flow of desperately needed weapons for the Astra Militarum slows to nothing from a newly founded forge world, there’s only one man able and (un)willing to investigate…Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium. With Cain’s desperately sought-after retirement on the line, the Imperium’s most reluctant commissar must navigate insidious assassination attempts against his person, legions of mutinous skitarii, heresy within the upper echelons of the Adeptus Mechanicus itself… and a hidden foe, pulling the strings, with an agenda that could threaten the future of Imperial rule in the Damocles Gulf.

Love the story but if possible skip the first minute of opening to avoid a spoiler. Makes the whole reveal more impactful.

Story
In the dark corners of the Mortal Realms, the mad and mysterious Gloomspite Gitz go to war, following the trail of their abominable lunar deity. Nowhere is beyond the sight of the Bad Moon—not even those places under Sigmar’s protection, like the sweltering city of Draconium. Beneath the scalding rains of Aqshy, the city is a boiling pot of tension, its regent praying to Sigmar for guidance while Watch Captain Helena Morthan douses the fires of anarchy: blades drawn in the streets, heretical doomsayers preaching the end of days, and insects eating watchmen alive.

Perfect entry into horror of the moon.

Really enjoyed the novel loved that they were able to convey the true nightmare of living through an event such as the Bad Moon. Body horror, suspense and a good amount of pacing through different perspectives give way to a fun listen. Will definitely listen to again
