Story

Story
Mickey Haller gets the text, "Call me ASAP - 187," and the California penal code for murder immediately gets his attention. Murder cases have the highest stakes and the biggest paydays, and they always mean Haller has to be at the top of his game. When Mickey learns that the victim was his own former client, a prostitute he thought he had rescued and put on the straight and narrow path, he knows he is on the hook for this one. He soon finds out that she was back in LA and back in the life.

What an unexpectedly great read. My girlfriend started reading this book. I thought here’s some basic tell all book. Well after reading it, Union brought to light the many truths of our society. An great book to recommend to friends.

Would you consider the audio edition of Two Kinds of Truth to be better than the print version?
Only listened to it. Have not read it. However, which so many twist, I think the audio version was perfect.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Because the detective was involved in two cases. The transition and tie in to both cases kept me up late trying to find out what happens next.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me wonder why I hadn't heard of this author prior to.

I am fairly new to reading for leisure. So, most of the books I pick, I have no bond with an particular author. However, I have saved Tim Tinger's name so that I can read some more of his books.
