Story
Did I think I was going to fall for my coach's daughter? The answer would be no. I'm still unclear on how I got into this predicament in the first place. A year ago, I was a man with one thought on his mind, the redhead I met at a hotel bar. Twelve months later, I found her. Unfortunately for me, she not only happens to be my very off-limits coach's daughter, but also . . . my new assistant and roommate.

Set up to score a hat trick...
Reviewed: 07-27-24
So This is War was set up to score a hat trick, but lost me in the end. I have loved the other titles in this series, unfortunately this audiobook fell a bit short. The narration of this book just ruined it for me. Sometimes it is hard to get past bad narration and this was one of those times.
I really enjoyed the fact that a full cast of characters was used to tell this story. I hope that future Quinn titles will gel more cohesively.

Story
He proposed . . . and I said yes. Normally a jovial occasion for a couple in love, but this proposal has a very different feel. Because the man that I'll be calling my husband blew into town with one thing on his mind . . . to make my life a living nightmare. So why did I say yes? Well, because we both need something from each other. Namely, I want the farm land he currently owns, and he needs a wife in order to inherit his family cabin in his grandfather’s will. So as he so eloquently put it, my hand, for his land.

Story
I hate him and I don’t even know his name. The good news is my nemesis has made it abundantly clear the feeling is mutual. He did call me pretty, though, in the midst of a heated screaming match. Which would have been flattering, if I didn’t loathe him so much. But whatever. I don’t care how handsome he might be, or how charming the rest of the world probably finds him, guys who look like aged-out boy banders aren’t my type. Add to that, he’s got a knack for being in precisely the wrong place at the wrong time.

Reviewed: 12-12-23
My Neighbor's Secret is the latest hit from Lauren Rowe. She always writes knock-out stories that I love and this was no exception.
These fun, fresh characters brought the heat, plenty of charm, and lots of humor to this original storyline.
Now I am someone who listens to A LOT of audiobooks - we are talking hundreds a year. I don't like to say anything negative about books because I know that they take an incredible amount of work to complete. That being said, I feel that I have to be honest and say that I had some difficulty when listening to the narrators of this story.
Overall, this story was dynamite and one you will not want to miss! Make sure you grab yourself a copy today!

Now, I'm not typically a spiteful person, but there's only so much I can take. Hence why I’m holding the box of his most cherished possessions...stolen possessions no less!

Story
Chemist Elizabeth Zott is not your average woman. In fact, Elizabeth Zott would be the first to point out that there is no such thing as an average woman. But it’s the early 1960s and her all-male team at Hastings Research Institute takes a very unscientific view of equality. Except for one: Calvin Evans; the lonely, brilliant, Nobel–prize nominated grudge-holder who falls in love with—of all things—her mind. True chemistry results.

He was my best friend...until he became my enemy, all within the span of one night. Bang. Bang. Bang. Bang. The rapid fire of gunshots became the soundtrack to my life. This is the Mafia. Lines are blurred. Choices are never black and white. And the life you thought you knew is one giant lie. He was dead. I didn't want his life to be in vain, so I tried to make something of myself. Tried and failed. Now he's back. Alive. And he wants me. Nobody ever said the Mafia played fair.

This Psych 312 assignment just might send me off the deep end. Determining whether love at first sight really exists with Robbie Moravian as my project partner of all people? He’s the sappiest man alive, so upbeat I could scream, and clearly rooting for happy endings at every turn. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled? But we both need to pass this course to graduate. So we’re interviewing five random couples about their meet-cutes and relationships and spending all this time together. Which is certainly...educational.

Story
Investigative journalist Laura Chambers is back in her tiny hometown of Hillsborough, North Carolina, the one place she swore never to return. Fired from The Boston Globe, her career in shambles, she reluctantly takes a job with the local paper. The work is simple, unimportant, and worst of all, boring - at least until a missing girl turns up dead, the body impeccably clean, dressed to be the picture of innocence. Years earlier, 10-year-old Patty Finch left home and never made it back. But for the people of Hillsborough, Patty was just the beginning.

Yes, Please!
Reviewed: 03-19-23
Right Man, Right Time, “Yes please!” Quinn masterfully brought together a hunky, broken hero that you can’t help but swoon over, and a loveable lady that I wish I could be friends with in real life.
This book had me completely captivated and I just couldn’t get enough! Clarke gave an outstanding performance as Silas – I would listen to him read the phone book and I hope he keeps reading as our heros.
While I don’t like to be negative, I have to say that I wasn’t a fan of narration done by Hunter. I’ve listened to several of her books now and each time I hear her she sounds breathy and it makes me cringe. I’m no expert, but I think it could be read a little bit less dramatic for a smoother flow? But hey, I couldn’t do it so kudos!
Having read almost all of Quinn’s books I sometimes worry that I will get tired of her writing. But this book proves that it’s ALWAYS the Right Time for a Meghan Quinn story.
As Always, Happy Reading!
