Story
In a sleepy village in the Shire, a young hobbit is entrusted with an immense task. He must make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ruling Ring of Power - the only thing that prevents the Dark Lord Sauron’s evil dominion. Thus begins J. R. R. Tolkien’s classic tale of adventure, which continues in The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

Story
Deep down here by the dark water lived old Gollum, a small slimy creature. I don’t know where he came from, nor who or what he was. He was Gollum—as dark as darkness, except for two big round pale eyes in his thin face. He had a little boat, and he rowed about quite quietly on the lake; for lake it was, wide and deep and deadly cold.

Phenomenal, I truly enjoyed every moment of the audio reading. I know understand why the movies received so much hate from straying away from the books. Such a wonderful story!

Story
Ghosts of the Valley gives a full spectrum recount of the incidents that took place in Afghanistan and the recovery process that became necessary upon return to the peace of home. The book itself will hopefully serve as a benefit to soldiers who have not yet deployed, civilians who struggle to understand the average combat veteran, and the soldiers who have redeployed that still struggle in their recovery process.

Great Read/Listen!
Reviewed: 04-01-21
Once I got started I couldn’t stop listening. I have the hardest time trying to sit still while reading which causes me to lose focus. Once I noticed the Audible was available I was instantly hooked. Not only does this book place me within his experiences, it makes me feel apart of it thru his experience in great detail. The book brings up some real serious points that Soldier face daily while also making some comical points to help alleviate tension to make the reading experience that much better. I’ve always heard stories of Sean Ambriz, but they don’t compare to the way it’s told by him. Great read, would recommend to anyone.

Story
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

Untuck this recording quality
- By Martin J. Fogarty on 07-25-18
I couldn’t even finish it.
Reviewed: 02-20-21
I could not finish this book. Not only was the audio incredibly annoying but trying to reach a younger crowd by constantly adding “f*ck” to every phrase was just ridiculous. Some things were well articulated on why things occur in your brain to cause reaction, but the break down was so ignorant it was more of a headache trying to decipher a Doctor trying to be “cool” and “hip” with a younger generation it seemed. I’m 28, and I was just annoyed over the entire experience. Not to mention it sounds like the recording is done on an android device.

Story
Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

I’ve started to listen for the second time. Great tell of tales. Not the best voices for characters in my opinion but damn good attempt. I can’t complain, the stories kept me hooked.

Story
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....
