Story
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Good story! A little hyperbolic but I liked the story and the main themes of regret and hope were very engaging. Nora was likable and it was interesting to find out how she navigates her way to her true life.

Story
America 2272 - The Office of Reproductive Oversight dictates laws for women and men. In a society where babies have become a source of government income, laws designed to push up the birth rate are enacted that strip women and men of the most basic of human rights: The right to choose when to have a child, the right to choose whom to marry, and the right to raise her biological child. Logical computer programmer Jane overindulges at a graduation party, winds up pregnant, and is forced to marry a near stranger. Drama queen Angelica bets a gay guy in a bar that he couldn’t “do it with a ...

I have 8 hours left and I am into the story and really interested but I can NOT stand the AI. I would think that since not all narrators are rated or paid equally that would be an indication that AI may not be the best for this job. Inflections are completely wrong. I thought it may work for to the futuristic dystopian vibe of the story but….nope.

Story
The crew of the SS Jimmy Carter is stranded on the tropical shoreline of Brazil, but Mike Talbot and his squad are not enjoying the beach. The Brazilian government might have failed in the end times, but the jungle is rife with violently patriotic guerrillas—and not the cool banana-eating type. Humans can be reasonable, more or less...but zombies? Not so much. The undead are alive and well in South America, and they are raging.

How do you know how much you loved a series? When you finish the 21st book and immediately want to go to book One and start all over. The series goes on and on and never drags or feels repetitive and I still have enough questions for 20 more books. The introduction of new characters was so well done and did not feel forced or intrusive. The Talbots feel like family.
