Story
Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. Her pioneering work uncovered a profound truth: Vulnerability—the willingness to show up and be seen with no guarantee of outcome—is the only path to more love, belonging, creativity, and joy. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall.

Story
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

I must recuse myself of objectively reviewing this book. Just like someone who is truly in love with their life partner cannot objectively comment on the power of their relationship and love, the same applies to this book. That being said it is the most thoughtful and introspective piece of Art that I have ever listen too. Thank you Berne Brown for this gift. You are changing the world.

A reconnection to Robin
Reviewed: 08-09-15
I had the the pleasure to hear Robin speak in 2009 and was totally blown away. He spoke of this principal during his Keynote Address. This book is the blueprint to self mastery and it is the key to unlock anyone's potential. I look forward to my next connection with Robin again.
Thank you for your Leadership and Heart.
Best Warm Regards,
John J.

Story
There used to be two teams in every workplace: management and labor. Now there’s a third team, the linchpins. These people invent, lead (regardless of title), connect others, make things happen, and create order out of chaos. They figure out what to do when there’s no rule book. They delight and challenge their customers and peers. They love their work, pour their best selves into it, and turn each day into a kind of art.
