Story
I'm a cautionary tale. A statistic. A victim. A single teenage mother from the poor part of town. Most of the time, I'm too busy working and struggling to care what people think. Survival doesn't come easy. I have a dark secret, a pressure valve, a rare moment just for myself. On these nights, I visit a club. There, I find men who give me what I need.

I kept waiting for it to get better. Narration was awful and cheesy. The main character was whiny, insecure and annoying.

Did not finish, absolutely terrible. Narrator did their best with an awful story. Main character is nasty and completely unlikable, all they did was insult each other. Did not get it at all.

Story
Wuthering Heights follows the tumultuous lives of Catherine and Heathcliff, two young playmates who become soul mates. While Catherine's wild childish capriciousness develops, Heathcliff "exemplifies the effects which a life of continued injustice and hard usage may produce on a naturally perverse, vindictive, and inexorable disposition".

Struggled through the whole book. Story is dark and not in a good way. Characters are awful and unlikable. Narration was ok except for Joseph's voice, could not tolerate it! Barely made it to the end, only finished through sheer determination.
