Story
The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

Great writing - Excellent story, believable and accurate in details of the period, awesome character development. I found myself sucked in to the question of their survival and could not stop moving forward with them.

Story
In this revealing compendium, acclaimed writer Diana Gabaldon shares her invaluable lessons for creating an immersive reading experience, from evoking a mood to using the power of emotions to communicate physical intimacy. You'll learn the difference between gratuitous sex and genuine encounters that move the story forward and how to handle less-than-savory acts that nevertheless serve a narrative purpose. Gabaldon also notes that sex can be conveyed instead of described.

Story
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Sometimes less is more...

The struggle was real! Yes, he loathes himself, we got it the first 100 times he told us. I know it is written for young adults, but they are young, not daft. Surely, they can grasp concepts without being told the same thing over and over and over. The book could have been shortened by 300 hundred pages without the redundancy or the story could have been more interesting with more action and in place of the repetition. I found myself not caring about the character early on and thinking, "Just eat her already!"

Story
In 10 lectures, award-winning historian Patrick N. Allitt transports listeners to England in the 1840s and 1850s. During those two decades, Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, became one of the most influential people in the country and remains a figure of fascination even today. In fact, the British royal family as we know it wouldn't exist without the private and public actions of this detached, impartial, and upright political figure.

I highly recommend this as an informative course regarding Prince Albert. I think he was probably the most wonderful person ever to grace the British monarchy. This course gives an unbiased narrative of his life and contributions to the throne and Britain as a whole.
